So short and straight forward. Thank you! I'm tired of listening to everybody's "fish stories" when looking up UA-cam videos. I just want to see how it's done before driving in.
Thanks! Your video is still helping people. My wife had started her 1998 Honda CRV, got out and it suddenly quit running. No sputtering, no missing.. just died. Battery was good, it'd turn over but no spark. Replaced the cap and rotor but still no spark. Watched your video to see how to replace the ignition coil and sure enough that fixed it. I haven't replaced the plugs or wires yet but we may do that too just for good measure. It's purring along fine though. Thanks again for the vid!
If someone does this take the air cleaner assembly off which is only two 10 mm bolts. Then you have easier access to the distributor and do not have to remove the spark plug wires off of the distributor cap. Also it gives you A LOT more room work with. Good luck.
@@dalestrommusic I've been there. So it's a good time to replace it and it's very inexpensive so just take it off with the pair of pliers by breaking the plastic and you can get it off. Sometimes it gets stuck on there cuz it's been on there so long even with the screw out
Hi may i know which is the next video that you had fixed the faulty wires of this car? I have the same issue here, where it will misfire and it does not goes smoothly. I am looking forward for your expertise advise. Thanks for sharing buddy.
Knackered JIS screw heads can be eliminated when you use a JIS screwdriver. Or just grind a millimeter off the tip of an American Philips. There is a difference. Best wishes. 🤷♂️
I think I had that problem before too... your talking about the "rotor button" (one screw holds it) I believe I broke mine its plastic and then I got the screw out, ofcourse you will need to change it...
MrJohnnyblazed Hi i put a new cap and rotor and it went from starting and running to cranking and not starting all. I have a feeling its the ignition coil or igniter. Everything was working before i changed the cap and rotor. Not sure what went wrong.

This is exactly what mine is doing. I will definitely replace this next in my long journey of tracking down the problem.

@@irisarana9544 I would try changing the ignition coil I had the video here it's pretty easy to do
MrJohnnyblazed it was indeed the ignition coil! So glad it was that and not something else. Thanks!
PLEASE TELL ALL WHY CHANGED THE PART!??????????
WHAT WERE THE SYMPTOMS??????
I tell you in the first 20 seconds of the video
You should put in how to turn the motor
You just turn the key a quick second...
