- Victoria Beckham released a Lid Lustre awhile back called Starlight. I (and I think many others) assumed it was a green gold, but it was just a regular - albeit pretty - neutral gold shadow. NOW she's released VELVET, the new lid lustre shade in a true green-gold that made my heart skip a beat, and it's even better in person than I imagined. I picked up the lid lustre in Velvet, one in mirror, and FOUR new Satin Kajal liners in fig, ash, olive and copper, as well as her waterline pencil. Today I'm creating a wearable, glamorous and tasteful red and green holiday makeup look using these as well as some other favorites new and old!

NYX has a green eyeliner that has a warm undertone: NYX Retractable Long-lasting Mechanical Eyeliner Pencil in Golden Olive. I have similar coloring to you and it’s very wearable on me.

The nyx olive eyeliner pencil is the best and only one I’ve ever come across high/low end.
Urban Decay has lots of greens (wamr and cool) and even a gold liner.
The Sephora Collection Shadow & Liner stick in Kaki is a beautiful shimmer olive green.

Okay but the way I internally salivated over that olive as soon as you applied it 😩 have honestly never been that interested in VB but as a Certified olive green eye makeup fanatic my god do I need that perfection in my life.
Editing to say YES please I would love a Hanukkah look from you. Your looks that focus on tackling a color you aren't inherently comfortable with and making it work with your complexion are always my favorites, honestly if you had a dedicated series just themed around that topic I would be so thrilled

My order just got delivered from VBB in the last half hour, what perfect timing! I too was waiting for Velvet to grace me with it's sublime presence. I also picked up the new Sequin Green kajal jewel liner as it looked like everything I hoped the Olive kajal would be; so excited to play with them. And also, so here for a literal Christmas themed look!

I picked up a few VB eyeliners too and I’ve been loving them! Sequin green is a great green color that doesn’t lean blue (bonus gold glitter!) Also sea grey is so pretty. Still haven’t tried the lid lustres but they look gorgeous.

Oh VBB lid lusters, they have been a menace to my makeup mind palace for years because they make my crow brain short circuit in how pretty they are but I'm not at the financial level to afford single shadows at that price. But damn, I want them so bad and maybe as a post-holiday treat because I've fallen in love with shiny single shadows and know I would get the use to justify a sale price

Blue, yes. Maybe lean into blues that are more grey or alternately, more purple (indigo). A few years back I hated (was terrified of) blue eyeshadow. I forced myself to use nothing but blues for an entire month & fell in love. 🤭💙✨ I can't wait to see that silver vb shade in use!

Warm green eyeliners are special, and if you find any, please tell! Marc Jacobs pencil O(vert) is beautiful but gone. Charlotte Tilbury's eyeliner duo pencil in Green Lights has a gorgeous golden green on one side, a teal (I know) on the other. Not the best wear time but the color's beautiful. Available at Saks. Chanel has had some beautiful limited edition olive-y pencils in the past. Now I see there's a Khaki Metal, but I haven't seen it in person.

Also, this VB eyeshadow reminds me of a discontinued eyeshadow from bare minerals called foliage. It was a looked gold green shadow and I was beautiful

The Victoria Beckham shade kind of reminds me of Serpens from Rituel de fille. Which is supposed to be antique gold, but for some reason it looks like a gold/green to me.
Every eye gloss I’ve ever tried smears within ten minutes on me. How does the RDF one behave? Smeared when I was 25 was the vibe, but as much anymore.
@@melissalynn1215 beautiful formula, It has a texture that is hard to describe. It does feel like a gloss but not very liquidy. It doesn't smear outside of where you put it, but it does crease, though it easy to fix. I just swatched it (sheered down), and the color looks very similar to the VB shade Kackie used in the video. They are the same price, so if you want something easier to use then VB seems nice. The RDF powder formula might be more of interest for you. There's something really pretty about their powder formula
💙Blue Kackie look? Gurl. a matte desaturated navy-ish shade in the outer corner, paired with silver shimmery inner lids would look stunningly lovely and hit that Hanukkah “blue” holiday as well. Just a thought.

Make Beauty has an eyeliner that looks like a proper green, with enough yellow to match the olive green-gold but still clearly green. it's on my wishlist because a real green is hard to come by.

Your excitement over Ash is how I felt when I discovered Street by Haus Labs. It’s cooler than this, but I reach for it practically everyday. I don’t know if the rebrand replicated the same gray or not.
I just got the Ash, Navy Noir, and Sea Grey pencils to go with the LE Vega palette. I'm naturally blonde, very fair, & grey eyes so I thought it might be a bit much, but the pencils work really well to enhance the palette.

I have a darker neutral skin tone and I love fig and olive for the exact reasons you hate them. They show true purple and green on me which exactly what I needed. I am trying to resist the copper but you are making it hard 😅

You need to try out the Colourpop Creme Gel Eyeliner in the color Wildcat! It's a super creamy light olive green/gold and it's gorgeous.
I have an olive green that (I think) is Revlon, and I just got a forest green liner from Moira.
I have a stripe of green- that's covering up a stripe of gray- in the front of my hair and I frequently wear dark blood red lip products. That's my go-to lip color because I'm not wearing green lips. I've tried and I can't do it... 💚🖤

I was gonna say "You don't like Ash?" then you said you liked it. I'm obsessed with that eyeliner. Haven't stopped using it since I bought it and bought a new one to replace it during her sale. Do you have any issues with sharpening her pencils? That's my only con. I bought the sharpener w the pencil last time and it was just spinning inside of it. It like stripped the outside of the pencil. I can only use a certain one with it now and then when I got close the end of the pencil the actual colour popped out of it. I would do Urban Decay Stash for a nice green liner. I also picked up this lid lustre! ☺️ Excited to try it with Ash. If ever you're looking for a dupe for Ash, UD Black Market was the most similar I could find.
Years ago I had Clinique's Quickliner in the colour that looks like the current True Khaki one, and it looked awesome next to my brown eyes. I'm kinda tempted to pick up another now that you've reminded me. :)

UPDATE: the lid on mine arrived cracked and I think the product was dried out - I had a flakey, fall out, scratchy, patchy, eye-irritating mess in my hands. Nothing like what I think it was supposed to be. Arg!!!!!!😢

@@kackie yes!!!! I think it is called Daphne. Violette_fr Yeux Paint comes in Scarabee d’or, which I own, and is a green gold but I know you dont like that formula. I have been looking for that color in a more one and done type of formula and looks like this Lid Lister is the one. But so curious about that Liquid Lurex shade and the three new shades she said will come out in the next week.
Lisa Eldridge’s Daphne is beautiful….. it’s actually a little more Chartreuse with gold than olive green. I absolutely love VB Lid Lusters and Eyeliners. I have almost all of them. I barely use any other eyeshadows now! 💙
