Kackie, for another back to basics idea, I would love if you presented us with a master class on the fundamental differences in a full face of makeup for dry skin/oil based skin care VS combo or oily skin/water based skin care! I am struggling with finding makeup that doesn't slide off or melt away now that I have started to use more oil based skin care as I approach my fifties.... 💚💚💚

Wishing you speedy healing from that concussion! And thank you for talking about concussions, because it's good to know about and they can be so rough. Bah...why didn't it ever occur to me that you can buy a mini and refill the freakin' bottle? Even when I label them, I get confused with tiny travel containers..so confused I have put lotion on my head and conditioner on my legs. Kind of painful to realize that branding is the only thing keeping me on track part of the time.

That's crazy! I think this is the first time that we have broken Sephora's website/app! I hope you feel better soon! I got a concussion at a metal concert and it definitely takes a lot out of you afterwards. Also i do that with makeup bags all the time. I started keeping a gallon ziploc for the stuff i dump out of my makeup bag 😅
I went to search for other videos where you've used these Hourglass stick blushes to decide if I want it and it was last used by Klonopin Kackie so I don't know exactly what that means but it does make me want to buy it more

Highly recommend Color Theory: A Critical Introduction by Aaron Fine. It goes through the history of different concepts of color theory and how ideas on the suject evolved from ancient times to the present.
I love the Angie x bk concealer brush, it is bomb. And kitten law is adorable. But. In my opinion, wether you’re using that one or rare beauty or rose inc, etc, we are all using madame pats finger, because I think PM did it first.

I just tried YSL Candy Glaze recently and was OBSESSED, but turns out it gave me allergic contact dermatitis on my lips. Saw a handful of reviews on Sephora of people who had the exact same reaction. So bummed 😭

Hi there! Is there another concealer you'd recommend for a no makeup look? The Westman Atelier breaks me out - I think it's the coconut oil. Also, how would you set no makeup look for oily/combo skin? Thank you!
I've seen Kackie mention the Glossier Stretch Concealer before for no makeup makeup. I would also recommend Thrive's concealer (can't remember offhand if Kackie agrees) as it has better coverage but still disappears into the skin. Both of these are on the hydrating side though - someone else would have to weigh in re: how they act on oily skin as I'm dry/combo. FWIW I've used Thrive on my oily t-zone & didn't get a breakout.

Candle warmers are a godsend. Candles last longer, no fire so no chance of burning your house down

Creme de Corps has changed. The one I have now smells buttery and it smells too strong grosses me out.

On a serious note, concussion can become brain bleeding, so call the doctor please and get advice. And make two trips up and down next time so you have a hand free for the banister.
So sorry about your concussion. I had one several years ago and the headache took two weeks to go away. Worse, no sound, no light allowed. It was just me in bed in a dark room for most of the time. Take care.
Btw, we had a rule in our 2 story place. Because our cat loved to run down the stairs and his movement out of the corner of my eye startled me so badly, the rule was to always hold on to the banister. Also a rule because I broke my hand on a stair. You may need to find a way to institute such a rule.
