Super tanky one bar heavy attack build for pvp that shines best in battlegrounds/imperial city. A handful of alternative gear sets for different types of playstyles are included in the video!

If you're watching this after the Scribes of Fate DLC update, the only change needed is to take the Hardened Ward morph of your in-class damage shield. Everything else works great, and this still kicks ass!

im not much of a pvp'er and only go into cyro for tier up events with guildies and generally do the resources but this looks a nice easy set up for my limited and rather small pvp'ness ;) cheers for this its much appreciated
Nice build! I always use tri stat food for pvp, that extra stam is a lifesaver when you get cc’d and I always have crown food on hand from daily rewards 😀
I once had an oblivion build before it was nerved. Sloan's and night slayer rocked.
I wish empower worked in cyro but ha builds still work. I ran something like this but ran sergeant’s and svarra scale

If you decide to try this on a NB, I’d gravitate towards a max crit damage build because you can guarantee a crit hit on the final heavy attack tick with Shadowy Disguise.
The final tick from a lightning heavy attack has a delay or travel time just enough to go into cloak if you use Shadowy as a spammable (activate Shadowy duiding the Lightning heavy attack channel), I’m experimenting with it atm.
I was thinking a nightblade with "Moras whisper" mythic + all assassination skills for that juicy NB crit... and maybe torugs pact + heartland conq w/infused? Fire dmg enchant?

I was thinking in the new update utilize the 72% hardened ward as shield with oaken ring and Nix-Hound’s Howl heavy attack tanks build as support to annoying people who can’t kill you and lower other enemy player damage
Knight slayer hard to get, specially if ur like me who doesn't do much BG :(, unless its sold in cyrodiil quatermaster greates? To farm it in BG is nightmare
i want damage set like this, but this takes ages to get, even dungeon sets are easier to get, Zoa has to me it so u can buy Knight slayer box in cyrodiil from quartermaster like cyrodiil sets
You can buy knight slayer from guild shops, or maybe something like divine elegance would work. I'm not playing ESO for about a year so I'm sure the meta has changed for one bar pvp by now!
@@dvmpstr i can look it up in game, but google says BG and doesn't mention other sources like with vicious death where it says u can get as random trop or bruma quartermaster

How do you feel about argonians in pvp? I wanted a niche pick as I usually go that route and try to outperform the meta in PVP games I play. I was thinking of making a DK
Generally I think they work well as healers since they get a healing buff in passives rather than any damage or defense. They also have the passive that gives back some resources when drinking a potion + the one that gives resistances so they would have good sustain. My argonians are wardens and haven't tried a DK but I think as long as you were using solid sets that would work fine!
Did you find that knight slayer outperformed for you compared to storm master?
I asking as I tried it on a skeleton dummy and it only got me 3k DPS more and those dummies have the health points to get a full 8k damage.
An unblocked 2k damage in a PvP fight do sound great, but won't storm master pull off that and more?
Storm Master would work ok, but I had better results in actual matches with knight slayer for the reasons you mentioned. I don't think that dps/dummy beating translates well to pvp since there are so many more moving parts.

probably won't get back into eso at all, osrs is much more satisfying for the mmo side of things lately! (hopefully the channel picks back up when some of my new ideas come to fruition)
What about a warden? They have the extra damage with the cliff racer skill once you set them off balance

from another build i took the idea of the cp that heals when u do damage, 1slot went for that, i am tanking world boss, without taunting keeping aggro while others also attack it :D, but as 2 bar build, missing oken
also i have thaumaturge and deadly aim, each tic is bit over 3k with staff, maybe i should replace wep expert for wrathful sins with my gank char i tested it and i had more damage with wrathful when i used heavy attack then with wep expert, tried on dummy
with 1 boss i didn't even need to use the ward
issue is off balance chance is quite low, so often enemy is not off balance, this would work better on warden when it comes to setting off balance with wall of elements, if its group of mobs they should all be off balanced more often, 50% of the time 2-4 mobs and i kill them without any1 of them ever being off balance even once, they should change it
but main point is it works fine whiteout oken's buffs to as 2bar build, not counting gank, currently strongest char i have
spell resistance 18k and psy resistance 16k or 17k, is ur resistance this high cause of okesoul?
hp with cyrodiil food its over 31k otherwise it was i think over 25k, at lest 25k not lower

I'm not playing currently, but I think crafty alfiq/daedric trickery with a magma incarnate monster piece and a flame staff is probably where things are right now.
@@dvmpstr So same traits etc and enchants, just swap out knight for either alfiq or deadric and keep sergants?
Why not storm masters ver knight slayer from tempest Island? Can then stack with overload lights/heavys
This is mentioned in the video. You can use storm master if you want to, but I have better results with knight slayer going for damage via the oblivion damage proc instead of critical chance!
Anything you would adjust of this for the Scribes of Fate release? Perhaps swapping in Hardened Ward giving the change? Thanks fellow one bar god!

@@MrJPD123 oh man, i think non heavy attack sorc might be my least favorite class lol!
generally speaking i would probably use streak, hardened ward, crushing shock and fragments as spammables, naked bird lady, and then shooting star or ice comet. for sets i'd probably use mara's balm/burning spellweave or something like that. kinda the same idea, but instead of heavy attacks, spam crushing shock/fragments and keep shield up always!
could you run oblivion damage enchant with an infused lightning staff for more unavoidable damage?

yep! not a big deal as long as you are wearing both full sets :)
why not overload since its a heavy attack build

What did you use as traits on all gear?
3x reinforced, 2x impen, 1x divines (chest/helm/legs, shoulders/feet, waist) precise staff, bloodthirsty jewelry. can always swap in a well-fitted too if you are a dodge roll enthusiast!

you either have a good healer or the opponents are shit because i tried this build and result was crap.. played in Necrom.. im happy that i did not golden the knight slayer set..
