#76 The wonderful Foxton Locks. Then on down the Market Harborough Arm. A very pleasant cruise :-)

We really enjoyed travelling down the historic Foxton Locks -two sets of five staircase locks - very impressive indeed.
After that we did a trip down the Market Harborough arm, and although the weather was unkind to us, it cleared up at the end, just as we got to Market Harborough. What a wonderful town it is - we had a lovely potter round the shops and a look around the wharf there. Definitely worth a visit, and great mooring.
After that we continued our journey back to Foxton, then found a lovely mooring at Wistow - just a short walk from the Wistow Rural Centre:

It was a lovely walk to get there, and as a bonus, Lynda managed to get here hair done at the hairdressers there! She was very happy indeed
