I’m so glad I came across your page! So impressive!! Do you have tips on transporting arches or pillars? Maybe making on frames that disassemble into a few parts? ❤
Thank you for share your experience and knowledge! You're very kind and graceful! Thanks from Italy.
Stunning arrangement. Thank you for showing us all the steps and recipe.

Thank you!
Love it!!!
❤ me encanta como se ve, it looks beautiful, 🙏
Totally making this with fake flowers and by wrapping a pool noodle around the pole! ❤
Amei essas dicas🤗🌹❤️❤️
Appreciate this tutorial so much! Thank you! Could you do a tutorial of a standing but curvy arrangement so it isn't straight up (if possible)
If you are making this onsite, approximately how much time will it take? Also, have you ever moved the pillars from the ceremony site and then to be used behind the sweetheart table at the reception - both at the same location just about 100ft from each other. Thank you!
How do you grab and move the pillar once done
Great tutorial. I always love your detailed videos and watch them a few times before creating my own. Can you help understand the base of the pole. Looks like you have a flower pot. Did you put something in it to keep the pole steady in it. Thanks so much.
If you watch all the way to the end (or skip to the end) there is a quick tutorial on how to make the pole!
Love this. I seen a few pillars using the chicken wires. Is there a difference with applying the flowers etc with them?
Great tutorial thank you. How long would you allow for making this please? :)
You do an amazing job explaining as you go!!
Do you mind adding what you might charge for one this size? I'm a florist looking to do this for a wedding in the fall. Thanks!!!
Hi! We've just created a resource for this and all the other designs we have on this channel. Complete with exact flowers and quantities used as well as pricing. You can get that here: bloomcultureflowers.podia.com/floral-design-recipe-book-for-the-budding-florist
Hello James from Dallas Texas now I know you're designing it but for me if I were doing it straight up I would want to zigzag my phone to create more of a winding affect I guess any reason besides just that's the way you wanted to do it❤
I have to do the same for artificis flowers. What diferent technique mechanic do i nêdd ? Thsnks for your help
Love the tutorial, thank you kindly. If it isn’t too much trouble, could you please break down bunch quantities for each greenery used for this arrangement?
We have that in our flower blog!
This is so helpful, thank you! If I were to make this the day before the wedding and leave at the venue - it should survive ok, right? Worried I’ll come to something that’s wilted from the summer heat!
Great question. This one is a hard one because floral foam is a tool and is not a substitute for water. It can hydrate some but I wouldn’t leave floral designs in summer temps overnight. To help, you might do the greenery part and leave that overnight and do/have someone do the floral the day of. Flowers can wilt fast in Summer temps. If you need help knowing what flowers to use/source flowers. We ship nationwide and would love to help you!
I didn’t see a link to the grand foam cages. If you can provide that would be greatly appreciated!
How do you know how much greenery to use on an installment like this??
how long before the weddig can you do this? is it the same day or the day before? 😊
Wow beautiful! Question...how did you make the vertical structure? Did you put a PVC pipe in a bucket of concrete?
Yep! Quick tutorial at the end on how we did itZ
I’ve been influenced by British florists who are using chicken wire for their pillars. Floral foam is quite destructive to the environment
so they are using chicken wire instead. I tried it for the first time for my son’s wedding last summer and it worked beautifully.
Great tip!
Is there a full ingredient and sundry list?
How many bundles of flowers do you typically use on a larger column? Or what would you typically charge for something similar to what you’ve made? Just trying to determine fair pricing on an installation like this!
We have a pricing and profitability guide coming out soon! In the meantime you can see what we made the pillars out of on our DIY Flower blog: www.bloomcultureflowers.com/diy-flower-blog/2022/3/1/diy-floral-pillars-for-your-ceremony
Would the flowers/greens last if I did the greenery 2 or 3 days in advance and the flowers the day before? if not, what do you think is the best way to organise the set up so me/my team is not rushing the morning of?
I have the same question
I love this but for ordering the correct number of flowers can you put the recipe in with the number of flowers and greenery you used?
Hi Amanda! You can get all the specifics for this design and all of our other tutorials here: bloomcultureflowers.podia.com/floral-design-recipe-book-for-the-budding-florist
Can you give the breakdown of your flower order for this piece?
How do you keep the pillar from tipping forward because of weight of flowers and oasis?
There is a short tutorial at the end, we made these pillars and on the floors we did the tutorial on we had zero problems with it leaning or tipping. Use sturdy pillars and it won’t Be a problem!
Love, love, love. I realize it would depend somewhat on your choice of flowers, but what do you think is the approximate cost of this project? Thank you so much for all of your tutorials. Your are lovely!
It varies greatly based on the floral used! It can range from $350/pillar to $700! That would be for DIY. Much higher for a florist pricing.

I plan on using this to make my own floral arrangement for my wedding. However we are traveling , could you use bunches of plastic/fake flowers and get the same ?
I think that would work!
is that small base strong enough to hold this up? or do you attach this to something else?
We made the base and it was most certainly strong enough. I could move the pillar by myself too. Had no issues with it leaning or with the weight of the floral which wasn’t that big of an issue when it was done. The flooring was brick so it was on a mostly level surface.
How do you suggest transporting these if not made at the venue?
They are forward facing so if you have a long bed truck it van id lay them down and place towels around then to help keep them from rolling. Drive slow!
what is base made off? i used a different stand and it keep falling on 1 side
The base tutorial is at the end of the video
Hi, have you done this without floral foam?
I have not but there are some great options for alternatives to floral foam.
Could this be made with artificial flowers and greenery?
Absolutely!
How movable are these once they are completed?
I moved them around my studio by myself, it was only short distances. I think moving them from a ceremony site to reception site at the same venue wouldn’t be too hard. Transportation between venues may be a but more clunky.
I don’t see any of the products and supplies linked
Check out our diy blog
How would you transport this?
I would typically only transport the base pillar and put the floral on the day of the event at the venue. The morning of ideally. If you had to assemble then transport I’d recommend a vehicle that is as long or longer than the pillar and lay it down flowers up. There will likely be some snapped heads/stems so I usually put the flowers in on site.
All these I love to do with u sweet angel husband not just at wedding but at home n decorate your life a loyal romantic loving garden
Way to time consuming there are way better ways
Great, you make a video about it then. We’ll wait.
This was very helpful. Thank you so much
Love it!
