For my wedding, I saved a lot on decor by just using stuff I already had at my house! I literally took all the frames in my house and changed out the pictures and saved jars from jarred foods for decor😂😅 still ended up being a beautiful wedding, our venue was at a historic building with lots of greenery already, so we didn’t need to do much

I helped at my friends wedding and it was a Lord of the a Rings theme- we use a lot of natural things in nature like leaves, plants we found to make it look forestry. It was nice.

Actually we are spending thousand not for decoration but for actually saving time for another special woks that need to be focus on the time of wedding! If we will start to spend time on decoration then other work will be left untouched

If you look up "Dollar tree fence chandelier" you'll find a few diys going into detail on how to make one. A video from White Lab House used a spray painted hola hoop and zip ties instead of wire

Okay but a lot of this looks so cheap 😂😂 I would have to replace the flowers with real ones because nothing compares to the smell, feel and visuals of real flower arrangements I feel that’s the one thing you should spend your money on
Tbh there’s a lot of plastic-free alternatives (and much cheaper and better decor) on a budget - it’s just that plastic flowers ain’t it.

It’s beautiful… it’s just that after a special day everything go straight to the bin😢… you can not possibly have artificial flowers for long.
Some of these projects aren't worth the time and effort - like the hemp placemat. I'd just buy it pre-made. The other stuff is worth the savings though.

Most artificial flowers are very obvious... go for latex flowers for a more realistic feel and look. Silk don't look real.
If you don't have money just to go out to a beautiful meadow in the forest. Creating so much garbage for som cheap looking decor really defeats the purpose

If it’s possible for you to “save thousands” on wedding decor, you really need to re-evaluate your priorities.
It’s okay to save money on wedding decor, and it’s okay to save thousands on your wedding! It’s just the fact that those ones aren’t eco-friendly or aesthetically pleasing, there are better ways and cheaper ways (I highly recommend visiting second-hand shops, using paper, old textiles, recycling materials or items you already own :) autumn leaves are also great for the decor and fully free and eco-friendly, there’s a lot of great alternatives for expensive flowers) :)
But wasting money on tacky stuff to celebrate 2 people committing to each other is ridiculous!!! The music however was delightful!!!
