Thank you for watching my video. I am starting a series of videos that may interest you that touches on the business of floral design and my own journey as an event florist. Please stay tuned.
That design is so beautiful I just really love it I'm from Pennsylvania have 30 gardens at memorial Park that I put in and hand take care of her last 18 20 years and I do it mostly just for people just to walk around and see all the flowers so it's really pretty but yeah I love that but okay thank you appreciate
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I’ve watch so many videos and yours were so helpful. I’m helping my daughter plan her wedding and we’re trying to save a little here and there and your video have been so informative.
I am so lucky to see.this video. It is really helpful for those who start to learn all the process of event floral arrangement. Thank you for your beautiful video.
Sometimes we will do a prototype. Definitely charge the client for the work. It’s kind of difficult since you have to buy materials for only one arrangement.
A pinch of alum (don't use too much) in the bucket of water when processing the hydrangeas will help it last longer. Also, remove most of the foliage, hydrangea foliage needs lots of water and will rob the flowers of water. If your hydrangea wilts, you can submerge the entire stem including the flower head in a deep tub of water and it sometimes will rehydrate. Harvest hydrangeas from the garden in early morning when it is cool. Hope that helps. Hydrangeas lasting have not been a problem for me. Wilting will happen if too hot.
For weekend events, I will buy the flowers on Tuesday. I always do centerpieces first and place in my walk in fridge. Bouquets are done 1 day before the event and also placed in walk in fridge. Personal flowers are done the day of the event and packaged and placed in fridge. If you are just starting out and don’t yet have a walk in fridge, get a sliding door fridge. I bought my first fridge used from a restaurant supply store. 😉🌺🌸
Beautiful✨ can you share how much you charged $$$ for one arrangement such as the one you demo’d as beginner wedding florists don’t want to short change themselves when they produce such stunning work and it may us an idea of how much profit there could be costs, Thanks!
I think she said for each large arrangement, she used a total of 1 bunch of greens (wholesale size). I think she said she split it between seeded eucalyptus and the round type, for a total of one bunch.
Thank you. I'm no floral designer, just stumbled on here because I love flowers. Thanks for showing what you do.
As a new wedding and event florist, I.really appreciated this tutorial. Thank you. :)

how do you keep the hydrengea not became wilted
Beautiful arrangements. With the clients, do you ever need to do a sample?
Sometimes we will do a prototype. Definitely charge the client for the work. It’s kind of difficult since you have to buy materials for only one arrangement.
@@KatherineBergmanFloral i suppose it depends on the client too, but yes I think you do need to charge. Thanks for reminding me of that!
Thanks for this information.
Can I used artificial flowers to do this arrangement pls?
Einfach wundervoll🎉🎉🎉
❤️🌸
Hi I really enjoy your videos. By informative. What do you call those pink roses behind you?
Thank you 💕🌺
I really like your tutorial
Glad you found it helpful 😃❤️
I love it! Lush. More is always better for me.
Hi,I want to know if the flowers are fresh or silk
The flowers are all fresh flowers💕🌸🌿
Do you do anything to prepare the hydrangeas so they don’t wilt quickly?
A pinch of alum (don't use too much) in the bucket of water when processing the hydrangeas will help it last longer. Also, remove most of the foliage, hydrangea foliage needs lots of water and will rob the flowers of water. If your hydrangea wilts, you can submerge the entire stem including the flower head in a deep tub of water and it sometimes will rehydrate. Harvest hydrangeas from the garden in early morning when it is cool. Hope that helps. Hydrangeas lasting have not been a problem for me. Wilting will happen if too hot.
What is the cost for something like this?
Thank you for watching. Tall centerpieces range between $150 to $300
How many days before event you make your arrangements do I need special fridge for them or that stay fresh thank you
For weekend events, I will buy the flowers on Tuesday. I always do centerpieces first and place in my walk in fridge. Bouquets are done 1 day before the event and also placed in walk in fridge. Can you do an arch?
Thank you for watching my video. Sure one of these days I will do an arch video. 🌼🌺
Beautiful✨ can you share how much you charged $$$ for one arrangement such as the one you demo’d as beginner wedding florists don’t want to short change themselves when they produce such stunning work and it may us an idea of how much profit there could be costs, Thanks!
Thank you! The tall centerpieces are $200 to $300 with the stands as rental items.
Why don’t you use Quick dip for the hydrangea?
I prefer alum in processing hydrangeas.
How much you charged for this centerpiece and stand ??
I am a new florist and don’t know how much to charge people??
$200 with the stand as a rental item.
Your saying $150-200 a piece or ? Thank you!!!
How do you secure the floral dish to the stand? I would think it would need to be secured and not just sitting on top of the stand.
Yes, you are right. We use bowl tape to secure foam to the tray.❤️🌸
@@KatherineBergmanFloraland what do you use to secure the tray to the stand?
Cling clay.
how in the world do those hydrangea last with so little water?
Thank you for watching. Using a pinch of alum in the water during processing will help hydrangeas last a long time.
@@KatherineBergmanFloral is alum better than Floralife quick dip in your experience?
Hola sra Katerine soy una. ferviente admiradora de su trabajó y humildemente le ruego me diga el tipo de flores que utiliza en este arreglo
Thank you ❤️🌸mostly roses and hydrangeas
😍😍😍
How many bunches of eucalyptus
I don’t remember ❤️🌸
I think she said for each large arrangement, she used a total of 1 bunch of greens (wholesale size). I think she said she split it between seeded eucalyptus and the round type, for a total of one bunch.
Can you do a tutorial for an arch that’s full of flowers not a half full arch?
Good idea❤️🌸
😁😁👍
Oh sorry you mentioned the roses in your video.
❤️🌸
you didn't balance out the pink and white hydrangeas. That drives me nuts....
😂
I don’t like it as it’s very unbalanced
Okay 💕🌸
You’d LOVE it IF you understood floristry and floral DESIGN .
May want to take a class or two in floral design to understand floral design .
