I agree. My BC Racing Coilovers Extreme drop takes a lot of abuse on the streets from bottoming out, to scraping and getting slightly stuck. I had them for 2 years since 2020, going on 3 years. Like the saying goes, you spend a lot of money for high end car parts you get high quality and better performance with longevity. $1,800 was a lot of money, but it was worth it.
Teins are still pretty cheap, but do offer half decent performance for what you get. Once you move to a company like Fortune Auto or ST is when you REALLY start feeling the differences
@@algotti6821 I got a set of flex Z’s They ride super nice day to day and they handle super good, I have the damper set to about 50% so there’s very little body roll and no understeering
I have had my maxspeedingrods for a little over half a year now and my shocks are blown. But it is 100% my fault because I live on a dirt road that gets literal craters anytime it rains. I think if you are driving them primarily on paved road and rarely go on dirt then they will be perfectly fine. Pretty rough ride but other than that I’d buy them again
Bussin bussin, I’ll make vids of my car here pretty soon but I gotta get a new starter and I’ll make a vid installing it so yeah some might like it some might not but das ok 👍🏻
@@MegaAB51 I don't daily my car but take it out most weekends and seem fine enough. Sure the philosophy, you get what you pay for applys, but in my personal experience they aren't too bad.
Maxspeedingrods are not bad. I put them on an e36 that I beat the hell out of and they held up well. If you’re dairying them you’ll have no issue. I was drifting on mine and they seem to take a lot of stress

@@UnitedHornet that’s crazy usually the back will sit higher kuz the engine in the front just a thought
I went from racelands to teins recently. Cheap coilovers LOOK good but oh my god the difference in performance and general feel is night and day
