I agree man. I felt the story started out promising, but ended up being not only generic, but also messy. They definitely needed more development for the villain and Wolverine’s arc
I'm really not a fan of multiversal storytelling, because it opens up the possibility to lazy writing and plotlines with low stakes since characters can be resurrected at will. That being said, I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a decent bit of fun watching these two team up from an entertainment standpoint alone. Great review, Dave!
@@SullyStreams thanks man! Yeah for sure, it works here because it’s leaning into the absurdity of the concept but I don’t think it’s something Marvel can do again. Hopefully this can be it’s own thing
