Thanks Rahdo: I keep coming back to your platythroughs because you explain your reasoning as you play, and this gives a deeper picture of what each game is about. I must say that I do prefer the format where you simulate a second player, as this is a more common player configuration. Also, your simulating the second player (instead of having a real player) is very useful, as this allows you again to explain your reasoning while you play. That's just great! Keep this playthrough coming, they're a unique and precious resource!
Thank you so much!! I watched another video and left confused, this video made the game so much easier to understand. You made the game look super fun.
The collectors edition came with Metal coins as well as an expansion pack of "legendary Constructions/critters" which are essentially one off cards that are more powerful variants of other cards in the base deck. The base game comes with the fancy components (ie: berries, twigs, resin and pebbles)
i'm so sorry it's been so long since i played i don't really remember. you might want to ask at boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/199792/everdell/forums/66 i'm sure you'll get a good response :)
Anytime you play a card, Rugwort will build the same number of cards. So if you draw 2, but only play 1, Rugwort will only build 1. It doesn't matter how many you draw only build. Also, if you use cards like the ruins or the crane, Rugwort will build when you play the crane and when you use its ability to build another card cheaper. Hope that helps!
hi there, i actually have, but it's a backer exclusive "ramble" video that folks who support the show on patreon get to see. i put a new one up every month, and last months' was "rambling through our new house and filming room" :)
@@rahdo No offense. But that seems really strange to me. I mean, why wouldnt they just read a book? I mean board games can be done with others and reading cant. If you are playing the game solo you aren't maximizing your enjoyment of the game. Like why play solitaire when you could just wait until you have friends over and play poker? To each their own.

Thank you for this great runthrough! Great to listen to your thought process!
My wife and I are going to be playing this tonight! Thanks for the run through!
I like the title card and box front in the shelves setup. Nice touch.
The berries are delightfully squidgy.
Thanks, love the enthusiasm!
Whoever said it takes 40 minutes to play is a joke. Took us about three hours. lol
wow, that's pretty unusual i'd say!
@@rahdo It was our first time playing. My friend took five minutes each turn.
Hey at 6:30 you say you get a card and a victory point but the icon depicts 2 cards. Is that correct?
it's 2 cards and 1 victory Point
Yay Everdell! Thanks, Rahdo :)
Fantastic informative fun and engaging. Thanks dude
6:34 TWO cards and a wp
i assume the tree doesn't fit into the box? that you need to assemble it each time you play?
You are correct
Yeah, but it sets up and tears down pretty quickly
Is this the Collector's Edition? Or is this the regular edition? Does anyone know the differences between the two? I want to buy one.

If I play a card that tells me to draw cards and play one, does rugwort play 2 cards or just the one??

Hey Rahdo. Please do a "New Studio Runthrough" video. From what I can see your new setup looks pretty sweet and I just love me some BTS content.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll go check out your Patreon page then ;)
9:11 Mugwort?… You mean Rugwort!
Why give us a solo run through?? Who plays board games by themselves???
lots and lots and lots of people. fastest growing segment of the boardgamegeek community actually

@@davehaynes9136 you might as ask why do people do sudoku puzzles, or crosswords :)
I play solo and know several people that do. Many of us do not have game groups or work lots and appreciate a game solo! Thank you Rahdo!!!!
