I'm okay with the rewind because it's a review, but realistically speaking - the reason you didn't go that route the first time (imo) is because he hadn't built the 4th facility card yet. It wasn't until after you went that you discovered he would beat you to that punch. You didn't know he was going to take that opportunity away from you when you made your move so now that you're rewinding you're re-playing with information you wouldn't have had the first time.
Yeah, I came over to the comment section to say the exact same thing. One of Rahdo's limitations is that he is quite bad at noticing when he has gotten information that he shouldn't have... which is the main reason I think he should Just Say No to rewinds. Edit: Come to think of it, that reason has to take second place to the fact that he often doesn't rewind correctly.
Yea, considering how popular Rahdo is, it really seems he shouldn't do a sloppy rewind like this. I expect more. I like him thinking things out live but live with your mistakes. And like pointed out here, the information wasn't present at the time so it was a legit cheat. Just play the game so we can see it.

Not sure if you noticed it yet, but the Evertree that you discarded can have you play anyone for free. You could have played that King for free. Also you could have still trashed the farm, use those resources to build the resin factory from the meadow, which would have given you a resin, then turn around and build the farm again, giving you enough to gain the harvest festival. Thank you for this run through. I've been waiting to know what you think of this game.
I get the redo - I guess I just don't understand why a pause button wasn't used during the deliberation, or, better yet, a rewind and re-record when the redo went south. But that's a quibble. Thanks for the playthrough.
i always film my videos in one take, no editing. i think it creates an immediacy and energy close to a live performance. the more edits appear, the more staid and staged things end up feeling :)

@@burgessandy he did discard it... the place where he put the card is the discard pile slot... he later discards other cards to there... why were you saying he didn't discard the card? did he put it in his hand again later?
Paulo Renato in the video preceding this one, he plays the Postal Pigeon, and one of the cards he draws to choose from is the Evertree. He played the other card and I think he put the Evertree into his hand. Unless there’s more than one copy in the deck and he already had one in his hand from before?
During summer you was meant to draw from the meadow not the deck! But good game play and there is many choices u can make! But the rewind is kinda cheating that’s what makes it fun the randomness of what he draws and gets!
Ok - I understand the rewinds, when making videos it’s hard to not make mistakes and often it’s ok to backtrack. But this rewind completely made me loose the flow of the game. Maybe we should have a Patreon vote on banning rewinds ;)

I can live with - and it doesn’t bother me. But the main problems with rewinds is that Rahdo gets it all mixed up when he tries. This is confusing for me and I guess others too. It hard to do one take videos alone because you easily can forget rules or overlook stuff. But doing rewind is even harder. Anyways - keep up the good work.

Also he later didn't place a worker to claim the harvest festival, if it didn't need a worker he had already lost that race.

I got some cheap(ish) wooden bowls from Target to hold components. I use them in this game for the berries and twigs.
Now the publisher has Deluxe Resource Vessels!

Sorry, no - just watched more closely the start of this video and you’re quite right, there’s a discarded Evertree *and* one in his hand. Confusing!
