Okay, well, sorry that the naming convention is so "random." To be fair, part of me felt like no one would care about these mods anyway. These names and characters were sort of recycled from a project I was working on that was never finished after my mother passed away and I lost motivation. Who knows, maybe I should have just stayed retired?
No, it's The Pit, a prison for the most dangerous outcasts from the formerly highly acclaimed Bionicle series Lego seems to be ashamed of. At least, that is what I pay tribute to (and a better name than what our former coder wanted to call it). This mod has quite a few Bionicle references sprinkled in, such as the Red Star.
Geez, no one seems to get the reference and it makes me feel like maybe I am a shitty writer like people have told me. You're the second person to play this and be confused. Then again, you're the only other person besides me and someone on twitch playing this mod. It's a reference to Japanese culture, in which delinquents in school dye their hair blonde. This was something done in like the late 2000s and onward versus the 80s, where delinquents would've dressed and had their hair more like Josuke in Diamond is Unbreakable.

      I forgor to respond.
The names do fit well, the pit reference i didnt get cus when Bionicles were out I was extremelly young, also Don't let yourself be beat up just by people not getting a reference. I myself enjoy the writing quite a lot. And I Don't know a lot about Japan So i didnt know about the blonde delinquent stereotype.

@@Dokizoth If you want to know that badly why Zhiritha doesn't have a fancy title, the fine. It's kind of revealed in Forlorn Heart, but since no one likes that mod since it doesn't center around any of the main girls, I'll just say here, spoilers be damned. The in-universe explanation is that Artikus and Terankos earned those titles. They had done a lot of good in the past, before Terankos became evil (which, again, you eventually learn in Forlorn Heart, but since no one likes that mod, here you are). And as you make it to the end, you learn a little bit about Terankos's old life before he felt like he lost everything. Anyway, Zhiritha was just rotten to the core from birth, so she never tried doing anything good for anybody. So she was never recognized enough to earn a title like they did.
The IRL answer being I couldn't think of something concrete that had the same ring to it, and I figured no one would really notice or care enough to point it out... Considering Zhiritha was spoiled rotten to the core, I figured it played into her character to not have something like that.
And yeah, I know, which is why I said lego stopped caring about the line years ago. I was very young when I got into it, and a lot of this references the old story, whether it's a mention of the Red Star, or calling Zhiritha's prison The Pit. Even the three of them are technically references. The three most powerful and fundamental forces in the Bionicle universe were that of Time, Creation, and Life, harnessed by a respective legendary mask.
Considering DDLC is an anime-ish sort of game, I figured I'd put in some bits of culture Ninja and I learned through anime. For the most part, no one ever questioned it, though. But since we're going to put out a fixed version later, I'll probably just remove that line since it's confusing people. This isn't the only thing that confuses people, though. Back in loop 2 when MC talks about how "just because Mio is one of the nicest girls in school, doesn't mean you can push her around, that other person got really confused about what I meant. I was operating with the memory of how I was regarded as one of the "nicest guys" in my high school, but it apparently gave people an excuse to push me around, thinking I wouldn't stand up for myself, but whatever. Anyway, I might opt to not stick in little shout outs to Japanese culture in future mods moving forward if it's going to confuse or annoy people.
October Horizon most likely being an exception among a couple of others, so I'll just give anyone who still cares about that mod a heads up.

@ardrethshadow9338 Eh, I think you should stick to making any references you want to make, It's your mod, So Focus first on adding stuff you like, sure some folks might not get the references but eh, as long as you get them And like your creation I Don't see the issue in that
