The book of Ecclesiastes inspired great change in my life as well. Many heretics claim Jesus was some kind of "Peace and Love, tolerate all hippy" but he was far from that. Not only will he return to set a house against itself with a sword of fire, But Ecclesiastes 3:1-11 says, "There is a time for all things, to live and to kill, for peace and war, to live and die..." So this "be a peaceful doormat" crap is just that - crap. There is a time for all things, including to fight, wage war, and kill!

Our faith will move God. It will take us through when all else fails . He is a good God and will reward us with deliverance. 🙏

By far, Ecclesiastes has always been my favorite book of the bible. It's a paradox; it knows it contradicts itself and at first glance, one would wonder why something so pessimistic is in the bible. But like one of its main themes, nothing matters. We all die, one way or another. We grow old. Sitting in a bus earlier today, thinking over all the problems I'm facing, and then I see an elderly woman on the bus. It hit me that whatever problems she faced when she was my age, 22, probably don't affect her as much now that her hair's all white and her skin's wrinkled. While I don't know her, and I'm not judging her, her presence reminded me that we often get so stuck in our minds, our hearts, our circumstances, that in reality, it doesn't matter. So why is it in the bible? Because while it does say nothing matters, nothing is ever new, anything new becomes old, Ecclesiastes chooses to hope. In the face of reality, of the facts, Ecclesiastes chose God. Who goes beyond anything and everything.

God wants us to feel satisfied mainly because he himself visits us from inside, like visiting a house, and he prefers feeling well himself as feels through our senses and “value meters”. The idea “I am with you” directly points to this hypothesis. If “a temple” is a place of torture for visitors, they stop visiting it.

Ecclesiastes is an incredible book. Truly the guide to help enter the fear of the Lord if you want to live this life. Ecc 12:13

Great video! 👏🏽 Ecclesiastes serves a reminder of our humanly condition, trying to navigate life through our own understanding but failing to realize its purpose which is to fear God and follow his will. That’s why it tells us everything is meaningless because apart from God all that striving and trying to collect material possessions is a chasing after the wind it’s not possible to grasp forever because all that will stay behind and we will die. For dust you are and to dust you shall go Ecclesiastes communicates that the beginning of wisdom is fear of the Lord, without him we are nothing & anything besides that is pointless.

You're right the most important days are the days when we don't feel like it, but we still know we have to read the Bible. When I started reading and genuinely studying and memorizing the Bible, it became so fun for me; not only did it bring me closer to God, but I felt accomplished from doing something good for me and it went from discipline to something I actually enjoyed doing!

Jesus is the first born, pre-eminent of Creation. Jesus Preceded all of Creation. Meaning, Jesus is both the Father of Creation and "Older Brother of Creation", as He is prior to our being. This is also why Jesus was the first born of Mary and Joseph. But this is not to devalue us as Creation ourselves, being His Children and/or younger brothers/sisters. We are all created equally in the image of God and are loved. This is why order of birth is not all that important to God, as He loves us all equally and holds no genuine favoritism over each of His children. Yet, each one is and already infinitely loved by God, but those who do His Will and love Him, He is able to pour out more of His love onto you, and you will be highly favored. This is what it means when God says Jacob He loved, and Esau He hated. God loved Jacob more in the sense that Jacob followed Him and His Will, who sought after God's blessing. Yet God still nonetheless loved Esau infinitely as well. Those who call Him Father will be called sons and daughters, and those who call Him brother will be called brothers and sisters. This is also why Israel is called God's Firstborn, as Jesus is/was the One who wrestled with Jacob in the wilderness and gave him his new name, Israel. And how Jesus is the True King and Priest of Israel/Judah. The High Priest Melchizedek and the King from the line of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob/Israel, Judah and David. He is the Lion of Judah and Lamb of God, the First begotten Son of the Father and God of Creation, Heaven and Earth. This is Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach/The Messiah, Anointed Saviour YHWH who came to rescue His Creation. He is the Aleph and Tav, Alpha and Omega, Beginning and the End, First and Last, the One and Infinity. Hosanna! Emmanuel! Hallelujah! Excuse the praise spree hahaha. I love Jesus so much. Duet 32 god divides the nations according to the sons of God (Some translation say sons of Israel but that makes no sense because Israel didn’t exists at the time) the Dead Sea scrolls read Sons of God. That’s why all these cultures around the world had different gods. Psalm 82, God having court and judging the sons of God (spiritual beings) for ruling the nations unjustly. Fast forward, Jesus died on the cross so that we can become the new sons of God and with him we will rule in new creation. In new creation we will sit on thrones with Christ and rule the way the original sons of God we’re supposed to. 1 Cor 6:3. We will judge angels. This ties into what you said the older shall serve the younger. Hope that made sense to everyone.
