- I used to be afraid and anxious wondering how I could make it alone in life. But I have found joy and confidence and I want to share how I found my way. Spend the day with Desi and me...we stop off at many downtown shops, hang decorations, bake bread and I tell you what I am grateful for.
This video is about taking a leap of faith and trusting in ourselves...being brave enough to be brave. I am not 100% brave by any means! I struggle with love and commitment...I struggle with self-doubt at times and well, I like to eat too many chocolate-covered cherries! But I have deep faith I will make all the wrongs right.
I hope you enjoy this day with me and Desi...what do you think about Desi's singing voice? His favorite song to sing is Jingle Bells...not sure why!!!

Last year I tried to sell my house to move closer to my sister (widow going on 6 1/2 years now; living in a town I don't know a soul). The house didn't sell. Suddenly last week an agent I had worked with a few times for various reasons reached out to me - she is a very good agent - and she offered to help me sell my house in 2024. Am I scared - yes because the market is so crazy... but, I am more scared to stay than I am to move the 950 some miles to be closer to my sister. Merry Christmas! Desi is the cutest thing. It really resonated with me when you said you didn’t feel happy for the last 20 years. My husband passed away from Parkinson’s a year ago and dealing with the effect of Parkinson’s on his body and mind was difficult. There is no cure, and the medication did very little to ease the suffering. He was a wonderful husband and father. I don’t think he ever said an unkind word to anyone, he was a true gentleman.
My Desi can sing, OMG!!!! 😂 I love him so😊 much

You made me smile and laugh and tear up today! All good things. I'm 73 and at 70 my children decided to move to Nevada. I had no choice but to sell my house and move to be with them. My move was in the middle of covid and I could not get anyone to help me at all. I was in New Jersey and they were already in Nevada and if anyone had ever told me that I would be moving across the country, I would have thought that they were on drugs ! 🤣
Well, I am now here in Nevada, 3.5 years and I am finally feeling settled in my new little house. If it wasn't for my faith and my close relationship with God, I don't think I would have made it.
Thank you for making me feel that there are many women out there with very similar experiences and FEELINGS like mine.
Dezi is an angel and he is all yours. Thank you for sharing him with us.

Happy Christmas to you and Desi him singing was the biggest tree I had on Christmas season so far I just turned 80 years old oh my God I have two acres I'm in Illinois I still don't know I do the grass plus I have a terrible back injury it's all about being strong and keeping them sometimes I can't even hardly walk but I managed to do things I used to run a whole can of snow dogs had to cut down way down after my back injury but I'm still here happy Christmas to all
