I just love you my dear. I am 82, all alone and having health problems. I am not in church where I love to be. I no longer drive due to eye problems that did not go so well. Oh Susan, that Desi! I just want to eat him up! Merry Christmas! I am your age and my dear husband is in hospice. I hadn't admitted I was afraid to be alone, but this video brought that unspoken truth up. I will survive and I will thrive. My kids and grandkids live close by. We'll be good. Thank you for the inspiration. The fear is not so daunting when it's out in the sunlight instead of it lurking in the closet like a monster in my childhood bedroom.

You made me smile and laugh and tear up today! All good things. I'm 73 and at 70 my children decided to move to Nevada. I had no choice but to sell my house and move to be with them. My move was in the middle of covid and I could not get anyone to help me at all. I was in New Jersey and they were already in Nevada and if anyone had ever told me that I would be moving across the country, I would have thought that they were on drugs ! 🤣 Well, I am now here in Nevada, 3.5 years and I am finally feeling settled in my new little house. If it wasn't for my faith and my close relationship with God, I don't think I would have made it. Thank you for making me feel that there are many women out there with very similar experiences and FEELINGS like mine. Dezi is an angel and he is all yours. Thank you for sharing him with us. Last year I tried to sell my house to move closer to my sister (widow going on 6 1/2 years now; living in a town I don't know a soul). The house didn't sell. Suddenly last week an agent I had worked with a few times for various reasons reached out to me - she is a very good agent - and she offered to help me sell my house in 2024. Am I scared - yes because the market is so crazy... but, I am more scared to stay than I am to move the 950 some miles to be closer to my sister. I have the strong memory of being little and walking in the deep snow behind my big sister. Each footstep she bravely made was the footprint in which I learned to trust and stay safe, strong and, well, upright! I feel like YOU are just like that for so many of us here for years. When I was 29 I was BRAVE when I told my husband I was going to nursing school whether he liked it or not. His parents, siblings and their spouses all supported me tremendously. He was jealous and insecure. After standing up for myself that year as he continually attempted to interfere with my studies I was a STRONG person. I graduated in top 5 of the class, served as Vice President of the class. We eventually divorced after his repeatedly infidelity. Two years ago, At age 68 I move 150 miles from my youngest daughter , brother and their families and my hometown. In my new home I’ve experienced new healthy relationships and activities. No regrets ❤️❤️❤️

It was so great to hear you are the happiest you have ever been in 20 years and I could feel it! Merry Christmas! Desi is the cutest thing. It really resonated with me when you said you didn’t feel happy for the last 20 years. My husband passed away from Parkinson’s a year ago and dealing with the effect of Parkinson’s on his body and mind was difficult. There is no cure, and the medication did very little to ease the suffering. He was a wonderful husband and father. I don’t think he ever said an unkind word to anyone, he was a true gentleman.

Thank you for being here every single week for us. I love your cinematography, your narration and your humor. Desi was hilarious. I had no idea he could sing! And no windows cracked for a three mile radius! Thank you for being open, honest, raw and real. I hear you on the love front. Divorced twice and always dating the 'he done me wrong song' guy .....I just had someone lay all his cards on the table and plan our whole future out. Which sounded like he had it all well planned and well thought out. My first instinct was, 'Run Forrest, Run!!!' He took my silence as rejection and attempted to sell me on what he figured were his good points...stable job of 24 years, owns his own home, kids grown and gone, he is financially stable with a six figure income, “you don't vave to worry about money”, I will protect you with my life. Wow! Who doesn't want all that? Well. I want my independence and I have my heart set on owning my very own home. It is very important to me that I see my name on the deed to my house that no one can ever take from me again. I have my own money and I don't need yours. Thank you. He said he needed help. He needs me to look after the dogs and I can live in his house for free...He even threw in that I could have my own room. Wait a minute. Did he want a relationship or a housekeeper cause I ain't going there sister! I have my own plans. I'd like to visit, but on my terms, and stay in a resort on my own. I love your house...it's a home and you've made it yours and it's beautiful. And I want the same for me. As a single mom of two I have been believing and declaring my own family home into existence for the past 30 years. God is the only one who can make a way. And based on visions and dreams I know he is about to open doors for me and make the impossible, possible. But we can have joy everyday of our lives by being a “Christ follower”. I hadn't admitted I was afraid to be alone, but this video brought that unspoken truth up. I will survive and I will thrive. My kids and grandkids live close by. We'll be good. You made me smile and laugh and tear up today! All good things. I'm 73 and at 70 my children decided to move to Nevada. I had no choice but to sell my house and move to be with them. My move was in the middle of covid and I could not get anyone to help me at all. I was in New Jersey and they were already in Nevada and if anyone had ever told me that I would be moving across the country, I would have thought that they were on drugs ! 🤣
Well, I am now here in Nevada, 3.5 years and I am finally feeling settled in my new little house. If it wasn't for my faith and my close relationship with God, I don't think I would have made it.
Thank you for making me feel that there are many women out there with very similar experiences and FEELINGS like mine.

Suddenly last week an agent I had worked with a few times for various reasons reached out to me - she is a very good agent - and she offered to help me sell my house in 2024. Am I scared - yes because the market is so crazy... but, I am more scared to stay than I am to move the 950 some miles to be closer to my sister. My mom mis 85 next year. Her motto “ you’ve got to keep going” Even tho sh waddle’s now walking she does it everyday. Her hands are swollen, has a stomach bag but she keeps getting up everyday and keeps moving. Her attitude is so positive despite her struggles. Life is a short precious gift.

When I was 29 I was BRAVE when I told my husband I was going to nursing school whether he liked it or not. His parents, siblings and their spouses all supported me tremendously.
He was jealous and insecure.
After standing up for myself that year as he continually attempted to interfere with my studies I was a STRONG person.
I graduated in top 5 of the class, served as Vice President of the class.
We eventually divorced after his repeatedly infidelity.
Two years ago, At age 68 I move 150 miles from my youngest daughter , brother and their families and my hometown.
In my new home I’ve experienced new healthy relationships and activities.

It was so great to hear you are the happiest you have ever been in 20 years and I could feel it! Speaking of cake~ the cake for Wyatt is perfect and I’m overjoyed to know you are finally where you needed to be after all these years! Merry Christmas! Desi is the cutest thing. It really resonated with me when you said you didn’t feel happy for the last 20 years. My husband passed away from Parkinson’s a year ago and dealing with the effect of Parkinson’s on his body and mind was difficult. There is no cure, and the medication did very little to ease the suffering. He was a wonderful husband and father. I don’t think he ever said an unkind word to anyone, he was a true gentleman.

Thank you for being here every single week for us. I love your cinematography, your narration and your humor. Desi was hilarious. I had no idea he could sing! And no windows cracked for a three mile radius! Thank you for being open, honest, raw and real. I hear you on the love front. Divorced twice and always dating the 'he done me wrong song' guy .....I just had someone lay all his cards on the table and plan our whole future out. Which sounded like he had it all well planned and well thought out.
My first instinct was, 'Run Forrest, Run!!!' He took my silence as rejection and attempted to sell me on what he figured were his good points...stable job of 24 years, owns his own home, kids grown and gone, he is financially stable with a six figure income, “you don't vave to worry about money”, I will protect you with my life. Wow! Who doesn't want all that?
Well. I want my independence and I have my heart set on owning my very own home. It is very important to me that I see my name on the deed to my house that no one can ever take from me again. I have my own money and I don't need yours. Thank you. He said he needed help. He needs me to look after the dogs and I can live in his house for free...He even threw in that I could have my own room. Wait a minute. Did he want a relationship or a housekeeper cause I ain't going there sister! I have my own plans. I'd like to visit, but on my terms, and stay in a resort on my own.
I love your house...it's a home and you've made it yours and it's beautiful. And I want the same for me. As a single mom of two I have been believing and declaring my own family home into existence for the past 30 years. God is the only one who can make a way. And based on visions and dreams I know he is about to open doors for me and make the impossible, possible.
I am 66 and I know I am on the precipice of change..my butterly wings are drying and I am about to once again spread my wings and soar!
