That has to feel so good. Walking off that field knowing you were the main reason your team won late in the game. Eddie is so clutch. The game he had today reminded me of his energy and the way he played the entire World Series.

I'm glad that Ozuna has a very nice hitting streak going for himself and helping the team. NOW, I don't wanna hear another Braves fan say ANYTHING about how much he sucks, he should be off the team, and what is doing in a BRAVES uniform (You know who you are for getting on that man earlier this year. Calling him everything in the book). 24 homers and 60 RBIs with a .251 batting average. Way to prove all the haters and nay-sayers wrong Ozuna. You deserve to be in that Braves uniform as much as anyone else.
There’s going to be a ton of people who “Has always loved Ozuna” but were loathing him earlier and booing him.

Ozuna created some bad vibes by his repeated bad behavior away from the field. So, he seems to be working past that… having to deal with off the field issues is a distraction in the clubhouse… Go Braves!

Agree! The '73 team was pretty good with the long ball: The Hammer had 40, Darrell Evans had 41, and Davey Johnson (!) led the team w/43.

Idk how it has ended up this way…but I’ve been a “state of Georgia” sport fan my whole life. I’m a die hard dawg, die hard brave, and die hard dirty bird. We’ll see about them damn falcons…but my dawgs and my Braves have done nothing but bring all the joy these past couple seasons. Gotta love it!

I wish they used his calls more in these videos. Ben was used more in this one probably because Bally's broadcast had a bunch of special guest interviews for alumni night and they weren't calling play by plays as often
Too bad I don't live in Atlanta it must have been a great night to be in Truist park, the induction of Rico Carty into the Braves HOF and their come from behind win courtesy of Eddie Rosario, Chirinos didn't pitch great but at least he only surrendered 4 runs and for HIM that's decent ( still need to replace him though ) so let's bring out the brooms tomorrow, GO BRAVOS!!!!!!!

they are also trying to avoid having him on the roster another 50 more days this season, if he does... he ends up using a service year this year... thus they could lose him at the end of next season, but if he doesnt use up a service year which is like 172 days of the regular season... they can then keep him past 2025, i didnt know that till earlier

@@Shane-sf9pv Lol, yea I too have had my reservations about Eddie as well, I felt his plate discipline was horrendous and he was beginning to get slack defensively, even some baseball journalist was suggesting that the Braves should upgrade at the LF position but he has really come on lately, as someone pointed out he tends to come through at a time when it is really crucial.

Other than Acuna's solo shot, all the runs came from the 5-8 spot. Great to see us win from different parts of the lineup! Also... time for Chirinos to go and someone else get a chance in that last starter spot. Guy is close to a 6 ERA at this point.

Yonny's Lucky... If our Offense wasn't on fire he would've been done for. Thankfully, and hopefully, that a 95% chance that Yonny isn't going to pitch in October. Other than that, Great game. Thanks Rosario, and Acuna! And Especially that hit streak for Ozuna. Let's get this to 20 hits! As of yet; our hitting is unstoppable, and our defense has gone really well. Pitching? Well- for the most part. Everyone has improved, and we had 3 shut out games (IN A ROW if I haven't mentioned), except Yonny breaks it, unsuprisingly. We need him to go to the Minor Leagues fa 'sho. I, and probably a bunch of Braves fans are excited to see Soroka come back eventually, he has been on fire. I will say, this is one of the coolest games we've had this month, and all of that was with Rosario. Great Job Bravos! Let's quinch this series for a sweep, and lets get that World Series Title!!!
Once Wright is back next month and, hopefully, gets into a groove again this will all be a bad memory

This was Eddies night. It just goes to show you how deep this team is. Someone different always steps up. The Braves could've just let this game go but Eddie pulled a rabbit out of his bat and won the game anyway.
My favorite thing about this highlight is thinking about the guy who commented on my post 4 days ago about Eddie always striking out.

I’m so curious how the Braves do in the postseason. I’ve seen this happen so many times in baseball where good offenses suddenly lose their mojo in October.
The thing that’s good about the Braves tho is that they play fundamental baseball correctly. Pitching and defense is good to great so they are going to be a force regardless.
I was surprised Philly got to them last year because I thought they were just as good.
October will be fun!
I think the illness to Max, the return quickly from injury for Spencer and the week almost layover killed them last year.
Well they got a little rust during The Layover last year and both is the Mets and Braves we're probably a little exhausted towards the end of the season because of the intense race they had for the division.
That layover we’re gonna have scares me a little bit. In baseball, it’s more rust than rest.
Astros and Yankees had a week off last season and cruised to the ALCS with the Astros winning the WS. Just a whole bunch of stuff hit all at once for the Braves and they were exhausted chasing the Mets, who also got bounced in the wild card round
