Good win for the Braves! Love how insanely deep our offense is
Just put all the Braves in the all star game! #GoBraves
Best team in baseball I’ve Been a fan since 3 years old and I’m so happy to see them do well
47 years?
I've been one for 52 years since age 10
I'm kinda rooting for the braves to win this year. Electric team
30 yrs
Yeah, it's too bad they've ruined their reputation by having a k0cksucking night
Matt Olson hits some of the most majestic home runs at Truist Park...good win by the Braves. ⚾🙂👍
Notes From the Game:
+ A.J. Smith-Shawver gets his First Major League Win by Pitching... Okay. 5 2/3 Innings, Allowing 3 Runs on 6 Hits, Walking 1 and Striking Out 6. Smith-Shawver Improves to 1-0 with an ERA of 2.03. Looking forward to seeing more from Him!
+ Michael Tonkin was FEROCIOUS in Relief! He Finishes the Final 3 1/3 Innings BY HIMSELF, allowing just 1 Hit and 1 Walk while Striking Out an Additional 6, Earning his First Career Save! Tonkin's ERA Drops down to 3.21 (-0.35) as a Result!
ROTATION TOTAL: 9 Innings, 3 Runs, 7 Hits, 2 Walks, 12 Strikeouts, 2 Home Runs Allowed.
The Braves' Offense Clicked On in the 2nd, and Kept up the Pressure the rest of the way!
+ Kevin Pillar is a TREAT to watch! 2-4 with a Two-Run Double in the 2nd and a Single in the 5th! Pillar Stands In with a .271/.297/.818 Line in 36 Games!
+ HAVE A NIGHT, OZ-MAN! Bumped up to the #2 Slot, He Finishes 3-4 with a Bases-Clearing Double in the 2nd, along with Two Singles! Albies holds onto a .264/.318/.812 Line through 69 Games!
+ Acuna May have had an 0-2 Night, But He Walked, Scored, and Brought in a Run on a Sacrifice Fly in the 4th! Acuna Holds Firm with a .331/.403/.979 Line in 69 Games!
+ Ozuna's Hit Streak in June may have Ended Tonight, But he DID Contribute with an RBI Sac Fly in the 5th! Ozuna Stands Firm with a .242 (-.004)/.317 (-.007)/.806 (-.015) Line through 53 Games!
+ Matt Olson Might've found something hitting in the 5th Slot! a 2-4 Night with a Single in the 2nd, and a SOLO SUPER MISSILE IN THE 7TH THAT TRAVELED HALFWAY UP THE BLEACHERS IN RIGHT-CENTER! Olson is now batting .232/.349/.843 with 19 Home Runs in 69 Games!
+ OTHER NOTABLES: Sean Murphy Had a 3-4 Game, While Michael Harris II Notched 1 Hit Tonight. Orlando Arcia, Despite going 0-2, was Walked Twice. Austin Riley was the Only Brave to Not Reach Base Tonight.
+ It may be a Short Homestand for the Weekend, But the Braves got it Started on right footing! The Pitching was Great, The Offense was Relentless, and No Mistakes were made on Defense. A TEXTBOOK WIN TONIGHT FOR THE BRAVES!
- The Phillies STUBBORNLY Refuse to Lose, While the Nationals.... Grinded Out a Win in Houston! (Well Done, Nats!) This Puts the Braves 5 Games Ahead of Miami, 8 Ahead of Philly, 10 1/2 Ahead of York, and 15 Ahead of Washington!
TOMORROW:
Round 2 of 4 Between the Rockies and Braves will take place under the Evening Skies of Truist Park. Dinelson Lamet will take the Rubber for the Rockies, Who has been ROCKED in the Month of June So far, Posting an 0-1 Record while Giving Up 6 Runs (5 Earned) over just 8 Innings.
Meanwhile, JARED SCHUSTER will take up Battle Stations for the Braves, Who Looks to Build on a Okay Outing against the Nationals, In which he earned the Win, Giving up 3 Runs on 8 Hits over just 5 Innings of Work.
Can SCHUSTER and the Braves Put Together a Masterpiece and Make it 4 Straight Wins?
Or will Lamet and the Rockies give the Braves something to Lament?
We Will Find Out at 7:20 P.M. EDT / 5:20 P.M. MDT on ATT-SportsNet Rocky Mountain (Rockies) and Bally Sports Southeast (Braves)!
SoundFX09, Signing Out!
U do his every game and it is awesome. Thanks for the effort u put into this!
Wow great job
what are you putting in the 3rd spot for your slash lines?
AVG/OBP/SLG is the standard.
are you using AVG/OBP/OPS?
Outstanding work as usual
@@Fetch049 ops is a combination of a players power and average. The higher the ops the more likely they are to get an extra base hit. 700 is average with 900 being very good
It’s a great time to be a Braves fan! ❤️⚾️
Braves and the Dawgs.
I love how Olson drops his head like he’s disappointed when he hits bombs. He’s like ‘just another day at the park.’
Yes sir I noticed his head dropped, I don't know why he did it but it was obvious he knew he cleared the fence. He hits a lot of taters
Never noticed it 😂 he did 🤣 he dropped it like..... dude I love my job!!
I got a man crush on this guy. His swing is so smooth with easy power, and he is just so chill all the time. I'll bet he knocks 42 this year with 115 RBI's. He almost had a HR in that last game against Detroit but got robbed at the fence.
@@1bcordell I was thinking He had a better batting avg but he's kinda low 200s and leads NL in strikeouts. He needs more consistent contact and his numbers would be better. I think he can step it up, he's a great hitter
@@jwalk8546 I agree with that. I'll bet that is on his mind. That's what I loved about Freddie, he had the power plus over a 300 BA. One thing about Olson, he does have a good eye and draws a lot of walks.
I don't know how much the Braves pay Ozzie, but I'm sure it's not enough! Love Ozzie!
Man I love braves baseball
Man. When Pillar is in the lineup, its always fun. Same with Hilliard. Having three solid left fielders on the team is pretty nice. Albies again doing Ozzie things. AJSS did allright against a wounded Rockies team, but a win is a win. Olson finally hit the ball. Reily is still having some issues but he'll get it figured out. And Tonkin Truck doing some heavy lifting today. Him and McHugh are probably the best relievers on the team with Chavez injured.
Smith shawver has a wicked curveball
Olson dropping nukes lol
Braves are on fire in June like they were last year
Pick up a quick W
Riley is having another big year at 3rd, really hope he gets a Gold Glove this season.
Ozzie is havin a year and I love it
I love you tonkin!!
Kevin Pillar is such a sleeper great addition to the offense
That dude just oozes baseball IQ. Very solid all-around player.
Yeah, why doesn't start in LF?
Great addition, great teams produce the best in players.
Rockin'W's ⚾❤️💙🤍 Great Win Boys #BravesNation
Braves, baby!! Keep it going!
Thr braves are playing fantastic baseball
Them folks put together a pitching staff and still rolling!!
Exactly! Missing 2 All Star Pitchers in Fried and Wright but still finding ways to win... Great young pitching and the Offense.... whew, DANGEROUS
@adamboren596 getting them reps in to be seasoned for post season play. I'm just amazed at how that Organization is ran! I'm proud to be a Braves fan!
Approaching the 20 over .500 stat. Then build from there, no letting up, keep winning stay positive.
Bravo for the bravos
Go Braves 🪓😎
AJSS had a nasty change up tonight
So happy 4 Pillar
Good job kid. 🎉
Go Braves Baby
Rockies dona a lot of celebrating on that 1 run Diaz home run? Hell we scored 3 n the damn ball never left the park!! Gotta love Braves baseball. 😂
This is the best team in baseball. Let's not get complacent, keep pounding. 90 games left and I think Philly could pose a threat.
Lets go!!
Be a Believer, Get Bravo Fever! Chop on!
Let's go braves
Braves def. Rockies 8-3!!!! ⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾
At the Bottom of the 2nd Inning, Kevin Pillar #17 (RF) smashes an 2-Run RBI Double and Ozzie Albies #1 (2B) smashes a bases-clearing RBI Double and at the Bottom of the 4th Inning, Ronald Acuna Jr. #13 (OF) doing a Sacrifice Fly as Arcia scores and at the Bottom of the 5th Inning, Marcell Ozuna #20 (LF) doing a Sacrifice Fly as Murphy scores and at the Bottom of the 7th Inning, Matt Olson #28 (1B) belted a Solo Home Run shot as the Braves win in a 8-3 winning game victory over the Colorado Rockies!!!!!!!! ⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾ #ForTheA
Nice win for the Braves tonight
Go braves!
We Did It Again
Go Braves
@2:06 someone farted
I bet this is the best team, in the NL!!
They are the best in the NL
A-Double S is gonna be good.
I went to the game
Does anyone else see the similarity between Matt Olsen and Ted Williams at the plate?I know Olsen has at least 50 lbs on him, But the lefty swing is pure
There's usually very little doubt win Olson goes yard. I wouldn't go as far as to compare him to the great Ted Williams, but Olson's swing is pretty
Olson's swing is a textbook on mechanics and timing. I never seen Ted Williams actually swing so I was comparing Olson to Freeman and Freddie is winning the one-on-one. However, Olson and Freeman both have same number of Homers and close to RBI. Every other offensive stat Freeman is way out front.
Smith shawver gonna nice in a few years
The starting lineup all have double digit homers I believe, talking about a deep lineup, wait! Except for micheal Harris II
I’m worried about the pitching
I'm not worried about the starting rotation. If this AJ Shawver kid stays like he is, with Elder, Strider, Fried, and wright hell, they're fine. It's the bullpen that fucking sucks.
Man if only Freddy didn't get in his feelings this team would have been even more dangerous smh
Braves front office fault for not offering what he’s worth.
@@fatdingo8251 The Braves did, Freddie's agent never told him about the Braves offers...hence that's why that agent is now fired
@@fatdingo8251stop
It, we’re better
People need to really learn to cut the cord
@@indycastletonjonahinarizon8380 I like your enthusiasm and agree with the cord but to say" we're better", I could question. Defensively I don't know because I don't see Freeman but its probably tit for tat. Freddie is winning the offensive stats vs Olson in every category except Homers and close in RBI. Freeman has 30 more hits and 20+runs scored. Doesn't mean a lot but I wouldn't say better, not to disrespect you are Olsen. Go Bravo's
Not much of a crowd
38,555 is a pretty good crowd. Especially on a Thursday.
@@coramoor3 Is it? I'll accept your word for it.
Queer night in Atlanta
