Basil Brush. Noo-one ffucks with Basil. He'll break your legs. Steal your wife and break your heart. Why! Because he's the guv'nor. NOBODY FUCKS WITH BASIL.
Steven is neither the first nor the last chap to card count. Yet the way he explains his experiences and his series are unmatched and because he's economically backed, he's very knowledgeable. Really like him already but glad you got him on the pod, much love
It should be illegal for casinos to kick out people for winning. Imagine if Arsenal got banned from the football league after winning the invincibles 😂
Steven is great and his card counting series is super interesting. I don't know much about casinos, playing the games there etc but it was interesting to see everything. From Steven learning to count cards to the policies or lack of in casinos. Worth a watch, honestly.
His video with Mike Boyd really opened my eyes to the absolute shithousery that is casinos. How can you kick someone out for winning too much absolute joke as if they are allowed to win money off others they need to be ready to lose money
I dont see anyone talking about this but as someone who used to card count as well, Id like to point out for anyone that might want to do it after watching this. Card counting is NOT easy money. Its like a job. You put in hours and hours to generate an expected amount if money. But that doesnt mean you will have a consistent stream of money. You can easily go MONTHS without income. And in fact, could go months with LOSING money every month. Card counting as a job is not for the feint of heart, only try it if you trust the math and won’t allow your emotions to dictate your play
It really is elite level greed isn't it. The casino will still make so much money off the rest of their punters and overall, yet can't accept an incremental loss from one person.
I'm pretty sure casinos use continuously shuffled decks just for card counting reasons. And I would argue that people who think they can count cards make casinos
Continuously shuffling decks doesn't hamper counting though. In Blackjack, cards that are dealt are later discarded after each round. They remain out of play until the dealing shoe is empty or the dealer's hand is completely dealt. This means that it's always possible to keep a running tally of the probabilities of high or low cards appearing, regardless of where they are in the deck or how often it is shuffled.
You can still count with multiple decks. You just need to calculate the extra decks into your count. If one deck has four 10s, then three decks have twelve 10s, etc. The hurtle is that they don't tell you how many decks there are. So you have to identify how many decks are in play based off of the size of the stack of cards on the table.
gambling is degenerate and probably should be banned, but casinos and bookmakers illustrate that no matter how much they can naturally extort from addicts, they STILL have to rig the odds and limit the successes of the tiny minority who win big from them
I'm kind of surprised he just isn't the basis of the 21 movie playing the Kevin Spacey role. Too hot to be on the floor, so has a team he's taught and rinsing them dry.
The main group that teaches card counting is called Blackjack Apprenticeship. You can find their channel on UA-cam. The videos are free and offer the motivated player a great head start. If you want more resources to master it you can buy a membership. It is a lot harder than it sounds to do for a living. It's a good side hustle but a full time job is not viable in my opinion without serious money management skills and nerves of steel. You will be harassed, kicked out, stepped on, abused by casino and police alike. It's not easy but the money is good.
It doesn't work like that because casinos use underhanded tactics to hurt the players ability to make money. Once you hand over your I.D. they will typically place you in a third party surveillance/undesirables database and send your information over to other casinos in the area.
He’s not ripping them off though. He’s playing the game whilst being pretty good at it. If they already ID’s him on the door then why should he have to? They just didn’t want to pay out.
Wow so fake, they do not cuff you to a chair do you have any idea how much money the house makes. What 60s Casino movies has this dude been watching. They probably ID'ed you for hitting a withdrawal threshold, which is money laundering requirements anyway. Also its one of the most heavily regulated industries at the moment, especially in the US. If you even so much as hint to someone with a slight gambling issue that they should continue spending, or even fail to intervene with help, your license is pretty much in jepordy. You only need to look at the regulator site which details the fines handed out and you'll see how strict it has become.
Arrogance and ignorance; not sure you even listened through as you’ve demonstrated you’ve no real-life experience or knowledge of the shady side of gambling institutions. You presume to know more than this “fake”, yet have no idea he is or watched his docu-series if you think it’s based on “movies”. He travelled between US based casinos and video taped many exchanges and documents his experiences; he was under $10K in every casino, and therefore under no legal requirement to qualify for crime related ID checks at each venue. Again, he declared to them that by state laws he was: *Below the legal threshold* ; he knew this and they tried to bullshit him. He says it repeatedly, on recording, and the gambling bosses in those instances don’t care because they want an ID on their database to blacklist an “advantage player”. As is evidenced by numerous encounters when they *eventually* concede to let him cash out without ID (previously assuming he didn’t know his legal rights.. I’m sure that shady tactic isn’t written into regulation, but that’s how it often operates regardless). They provided numerous false decoy reasons as to why they “require ID” but then gave in when he revealed he was informed on the state laws re. cashing out threshold. You’re simply naive enough to think these organisations all operate within the strictures of law when it’s evidenced they test those boundaries where they feel there is ignorance on the other side… You’re seriously claiming that the House routinely, if not always, intervenes with those who have a “slight gambling issue”? I mean, that is really comically naïve.
Imagine being banned from a casino, just for being too good at Blackjack... what disguise should Steven use to sneak back in!? 🇳🇺

@@Algorithm347 he uploads videos of his card countering encounters once a month.
His series is genuinely interesting and well made, even for someone who doesn't care about gambling.
Used to watch his magic back in the day, awesome to see he's moving up in the world!
Cheers Tommy!
It should be illegal for casinos to kick out people for winning. Imagine if Arsenal got banned from the football league after winning the invincibles 😂
They even chase people down in cars even after they leave and get the cops to harrass you crazy shit lol
No need to ban Arsenal from the league because they haven’t won the league since that invincible season😂
Thankfully arsenal don't have to worry about that anytime soon
Arsenal win matches?
...That happens?!!!
@@ThatCoalSoul did just beat Chelsea 4-2

An actual professional gambler
Waited for this podcast!!!
The worst back off for him was at Tulalip in Marysville, WA. They're very aggressive with APs
Binge watched all of this series, truely amazing content
I love Stephen and I love jack. How did I not know about this collab
Anyone else think he sounds like a young Robbie Knox?
Banning card counting should be made illegal x
It really is elite level greed isn't it. The casino will still make so much money off the rest of their punters and overall, yet can't accept an incremental loss from one person.
If the house can’t win legitimately they’ll win illegitimately and use all sorts of excuses not to give you what you’ve won
Fucking
Love Steven big up the big cheese
He is a king, Im sub him alreadyy
posted on my birthday ayyy
Has he ever been invited out back to meet De Niro, a handful of Sherrif’s and an electric saw though?🤨😩
You can count on San Diego. Seven Mile casino no issues
I'm banned for being too good at Baccarat...😮
I'm pretty sure casinos use continuously shuffled decks just for card counting reasons. And I would argue that people who think they can count cards make casinos

All love to this guy seems genuine but mate just show ur ID
they're your friends when you lose - they're NOT your friends when you WIN? ... that sounds a lot like "spoiled children"
I thought casinos used multiple decks in Blackjack to stop card counters?
You can still count with multiple decks. You just need to calculate the extra decks into your count.

just have others go in with the chips
The title is misleading
gambling is degenerate and probably should be banned, but casinos and bookmakers illustrate that no matter how much they can naturally extort from addicts, they STILL have to rig the odds and limit the successes of the tiny minority who win big from them
Card counting I’m ok with in blackjack. Not poker though. Because there you are playing with others
uhm... what? card counting in poker? that's not a thing...
You have no idea what you are talking about lmao. Poker is not in any way at all similar to blackjack apart from the fact they both involve cards
Every hand is reshuffled back into the deck in poker. There is no way to count cards in that game.
Dude you want to be handcuffed to a chair because you can then sue the casino for false imprisonment and make more money that way then the gambling.
I prefer girls back offs.
Man will duppy a fat back stiwl
I'm kind of surprised he just isn't the basis of the 21 movie playing the Kevin Spacey role. Too hot to be on the floor, so has a team he's taught and rinsing them dry.
Sign me up please. I'm desprate for money. I've had enough of my low paid job. Pleaseeee!!!

Casinos are a waste of time and money
Unless you’re Steven
Unless you actually win money and have a good time
If you showed your ID it would diffuse the situation a lot more effectively
Yeah but then the casino can have his details on a system and send to other casinos who will immediately back him off as he walks in the casino
Yeah it would short term solve the problem to long term create many more problems.
Why do people go to casinos tho waste of time and money
1. For fun
2. For a genuine opportunity to make money if you’re like Steven.
It doesn't work like that because casinos use underhanded tactics to hurt the players ability to make money. Once you hand over your I.D. they will typically place you in a third party surveillance/undesirables database and send your information over to other casinos in the area.
Steven: I try not to escalate the situation.
Also Steven: I refuse to give my ID to the security of a casino that I am ripping off.
He’s not ripping them off though. He’s playing the game whilst being pretty good at it. If they already ID’s him on the door then why should he have to? They just didn’t want to pay out.
lol, what do you think casinos do?
Blud really Simps for casinos 💀
