Thanks a lot sir!!! Your videos are very detailed and informative for each topic, that too without any doubts left uncleared, I am so grateful to Saraswati Mata for blessing us students with teachers like you, that too without any cost, Thanks a lot sir Jai Shri Ram
sir can you explain me that whether u[x]+u[-x] is periodic or not? in the Oppenheim there is a question that asks us to find whether u[x]+u[-x] is periodic or not. The book says it isn't, but as you said wtr Gibbs phenomena, it is periodic.(or can we add Gibbs to discrete time signals?)
Hold on, in your previous lectures you said we find average power for Non-Periodic signals using the following formula: Limit at T -> infinity of 1/T times the integral whose limits span -T/2 to T/2, covering a distance equal to T. Here you are saying Limit as T -> infinity of 1/2T times the integral whose limits span -T to T, a distance equal to 2T. I know that average power means you take the integral and divide by the distance of the limits covered and technically you get the same result in both versions, BUT you should be consistent with your formulas because that shit could confuse people. Additionally, we can see that Power is finite BUT in a previous lecture you said that if the signal is an infinite extension signal whose amplitude is neither decreasing or increasing, that signal is considered as NENP. Please explain that contradiction.
How to determine whether unit step signal is periodic or not and please also explain the concept how to determine unit step signal is even or odd briefly
8 years later and this is still easily one of the best explanation of unit step signal, thank you!
you are taking every possible condition of each topic that's great work................... thank you so much sir
Wonderful guys, nice explanation. I have searched this topic on google, no clear explanation. This one is best.

Sir please made a video on frequency response
hi sir, in the 2 property the avg power should be 1/t but u have written 1/2T
Thank you so much sir, very clear.
Power is 1/T but you here 1/2T instead of that, why?
The limits on the integral are different. For 1/T, the limits are (-T/2,T/2). He basically "doubled" the limits to pull out a 1/2, thats all.
u said that dc value of a signal is even signal , then how that this unit step signal is not an even signal ...plz explain sir
Hey there, ı just don't get a point that you were talkin about. How do you know whether it satisfies III property or not ?
is it only 0 and 1 for 0:47, how about 2,3,4 etc.. ?
sir plz upload Gibbs phenomenon

If it's magnitude is constant it is Power signal only
Thanks Sir🙏🙏
if have ask the concept of unit step function means .
we have to write, unit step signal, unit step properties and this function, isnt it sir ,?
Your video are very helpfull sir,,
suggestion::BUT THERE IS VERY LOW VOLUME IN MOST OF THE VIDEOS SO PLZ TRY TO FIX THAT.....
earphones are the best solution.
Sir according to gibbs phenomena the value at t=0 should be 0.5 so why is it considered as 1?
At t=0 both u(t) and u(-t) is one so the average is 1
@@jancydas5569 thank you
Sir please upload all signal and systems lectures
okay
The Gibb's Phenomena concept is also valid for discrete time signal? x[n]= u(n)+u(-n) please say professor
Sir according to your previous lectures... Property 3 rd must be even signal as:-
x(-t)=x(t)= 1 .
Just make graph n u will get your answer
Thanks anna
according to gibbs; we get 1/2 at t=0; but why we take 1 at t=0; for step functon.
average of t(0 -) and t(0+) ,,i.e(1+1)/2 = 1
@@kesavkumar1434 t(0-) is not 1 bro. Its zero
No at t=0 u(-t) is also one
YOu the best dadada
In unit step function, why not the condition t>=0 correct?
Unit step function is energy signal or power signal?
Why u r take time b/w -T to T to calculate power,& why u r not take time b/w -T/2 to T/2
same question here
how to measure the area of an unit step signal?Thank You
Sir,
exp(-t)u(t) / exp(t) u(-t), can we solve this term without any transform
nice video
Sir, is this same for both continuous and discrete time?
Why is Gibb's phenomenon not applied for individual unit step signal at t=0?
Yes..and in that case at t=0. Magnitude should be 1/2.
I had referred in some signalling website. But still its a matter of confusion.
to get answer
How to determine whether unit step signal is periodic or not and please also explain the concept how to determine unit step signal is even or odd briefly
He's already done this 7:03
unit step signal , [x]= n u [n-6]
How to plot graph for
x(t) =u(t-2)-u(t+3)
Can we say u(-t) +u(t) is dc?
can anyone please explain the Point of discontinuity
What is RMS?? sir
Is Unit step having halfwave symmetry
i am not getting 3rd property
since u(t) is not periodic but still it is power signal.How?....please answer sir
Power infinity
Unit step signal is Ac or DC
❤❤
Thaaaaaanks
so,
unit step signal is a power signal
unit step signal should be power signal instead of NENP. The value is not infinite at any instant of time.
yes it is power signal with power A0^2/2
unit step signal is whether power or energy signal???
bharath vuppala Power signal
The peak isn't dec. or inc. thrrfr Power
Ya lyrics jo chal rhy hai es video m ya distrub kr rhy hai bhut plzz ya remove kr dy
why 1/2T in ii
It is like if he is taking T ' = 2T ( integration from -T to T ) so he must devide by T ' also which is 2T
