What sort of read out times are we looking at? Is it Sony's usual wobble and jello slow, or closer to Arri's? Or does the sensor have a Global Shutter mode?
is there a how to building this and is what lens mount would you recommend for build MFT. EF E-mount. could you create a TUT video for this please EXTREMELY & HIGHLY INTRESTED. am in wedding film making.
is the speedbooster to reduce/undo the crop, not sure what the crop is on the IMX585 vs. HQ cam (5.5) this sensor is really $250? damn or am I looking at the wrong one 3:49 this part reminded me of the song six underground ha
Absolutely, it can perform in those situations. It's noisy when you push the ISO to extreme, but that's the case for all sensors; but when you shoot RAW you must do denoise in post to make it fair, cause most camera's will do the same internally. We will have a monochrome version to test with soon, that should have even greater sensitivity and perhaps we will do a demo for that one.
eta on an assembly video?
Seems like you are having a fun weekend shooting. This might be your best footage yet!!!
Really want to build one, are there any IMX585 boards with lens mounts around? I see Starlight is out of stock
wow dynamic range looks amazing!

Needs some validation, but I believe it's ~16ms
I can't wait to build one! Are we thinking audio too, maybe digital in?
Where I can find the manual to assembly the cam?
There's no proper guide yet, but you can check out the schoolpost Github for a build log and BoM
Where exactly is this? Looks lovely
More and more impressive!
Thank you so much!

Is the bit depth of the resulting image 16bits or is it a 12bit image in a 16bit container?
The resulting image is 16bit in ClearHDR mode.

These sensors are quite small so yeah
How long would it take to complete the entire camera without serious bugs?
Can you try some low light stuff? it looks like the sensor is right for it.
