*Kia ora (hello) Thank you for showing off & describing my beautiful country, as these vids will show the world just how beautiful Aotearoa New Zealand really is. Please keep safe and keep a close eye on our weather conditions, as more rain is due in after Cyclone Gabrielle. Kia kaha (stay strong) & keep safe & be well as you travel around NZ. As tourists always keep regular contact with family back home.*
Those hot spring looked petty amazing. I actually didn't know very much about NZ before I started watching these videos so I am finding it fascinating to learn about all the different things to see and do there,
That really was well done guys!! i live in Aussie now but love to see content like this, makes me a bit homesick but at the same time it warms my heart to see people from another country enjoying our beautiful country!! Safe travels my friends!!👍😀Robbie
Lovely video guys. Everything looks amazing. I bet that huge thermal lake stunk. By the way, is it me, or is Tom's hair getting blonder in every video?
Possums was introduced to NZ from Australia by the British soldier Sir George Grey. He served in governing positions as Governor in Australia, NZ, Cape Colony. He was Prime Minister of NZ in 1877-79. Possums are considered a pest and threat to native plants and animals. They are a major threat to farmlands - beef, dairy and deer farms. They can carry bovine TB which is another threat to the farms.
I think that I wouldn't come back home if I went to NZ. Great video, and views. It was a bit difficult watching you swimming whilst I sit here in the chilly UK ;-)
@@NotAnotherAdventure I live in a mild area (Pembrokeshire) so it was only really cold for a week beginning of December. It's a bit chilly again now but nowhere near as cold as that week before Xmas. Not cold enough for frost. I have no heating on and I'm comfortable indoors. A friend in west midlands has been feeling it, though. Flowers are coming out, so soon the leaves will be back on the trees (spoiling my view of the countryside!), so it's a positive feeling of spring on its way 🙂 Will you be going to the warmer parts as the cold weather comes in over in NZ?
@@Electrowave ah no way? We love Pembrokeshire! We're not sure yet. We're going to work for the next month to try and get some money and then head down to the south island for a couple of months. Depending on how we feel after that we'll either head straight back to the UK or to Australia!
@@NotAnotherAdventure Australia, the land of bitey poisonous things ;-) I have a brother up near Cairns. He complains when the winter temperature goes down to 26C! We're lucky to get that here in the summer, some years.
It's been years since I've been back to Rotorua, but if you have the time, things to check out, as you are in the biggest tourist spot for the north island: -Paradise Valley Springs -National Kiwi Hatchery -The Gondola and the Luge -Kuirau Park (free) -Agrodome -Government Gardens (free)

Definitely, we're staying safe and sound in actual accomodation rather than in tents. Seems a lot safer with the wind!
Loved this video! Such a beautiful country. So lovely to see you enjoying your adventures...😍
Thank you! ❤️
Make sure you go on the luge while you are in rotorua. It's great fun!
Awh man we missed it! We've made a note. When we head back up that way we'll be sure to go on it!

We're glad that we're able to show the amazing and beautiful things here, it's been such a discovery for us too!
Very chill 🙏
Thank you!

The the whole area stunk of rotten eggs, even Rotorua city has a slight smell of it!
You're not wrong. It's looking very blond recently!

That's interesting to know! We knew they were introduced but had no idea just how much of a pest they were

Honestly it's going to be difficult to tear ourselves away from the country 😂
We've heard it's been a cold winter back home? How've you found it?

We're planning on going to the Waimangu Volcanic Valley next time we are in Rotorua! Hope you're taking advantage of Book Me!
Book me has been such a lifesaver! We saved something like 50% for waimangu and the Buried village!

We did go to Kuirau park and the Government gardens! But we didn't know about the other things. We'll just have to go back!
