You guys are bloody awesome people!!! Love watching you guys tour around NZ. It’s totally reminding me that I need to visit these spots a lot more often!!
Wonderful video! Felt like I was there (minus the sulphur smell). We had the pleasure of road tripping the North Island earlier this year and enjoyed our time in Rotorua. Can’t wait to edit those videos soon. Hope your back gets better soon, Dane. Stay safe and take care.
Amazing breakdown of waiotapu! We were there for 2 weeks to cover both islands.. so it was very much a touch and go along the way! You definitely have much more fun with 5 weeks ☺️
Hello we hope you are well . thank you for taking us around .i want to live in hobbit town . and i have always wanted to go zorbing . looks like you had a great time . take care and keep safe love and light Sarah and Glenn
I seem to be bathed in reminders of my trip away to Rotovegas last year - right at this time. I took the Waio-tapu-o trip with a mini tour - that including the Lady Knox Geyser -- the sitting was packed out with dozens of mainly tourists. Now the tourists will be mostly our own, I guess. I've got some stunning photos which I took on my phone...but they are many like you would've got, brilliant mud, colour and steam...
I’m a kiwi whose lived in the UK for nearly 15 years and it’s so great to see NZ like this 😄 hoping to become a tourist the next time I’m home, there’s just no place like it!
There's something so special about seeing it through a tourists eyes! We definitely appreciate NZ even more after being away for a couple of years. Hope you get to come back home soon 😁
Have you been to Iceland to see Strokkur yet? It erupts roughly every 7 minutes and starts with a gorgeous blue bubble. What a beautiful walk around the park you guys did! I really liked the walkway through the mud/steam area. Very neat
I feel for you Dane 🧡 All our travels have been done with me in extreme pain. It's so hard some days not being able to do everything I want, some days I don't know how I do it....then I realize travel is my passion. Funny how we manage to adapt to do things we love with people we love. We have sulfur hot springs here in British Columbia you can swim in. They feel good but you smell after lol -Shawna🍁
I wanted to pass on my thanks for this series. New Zealand has been high on my bucket list for many years. I'm a teacher living in the UK and am restricted to a maximum of 2 weeks off during your spring's, summer's and autumn's. Its always felt too far away for 2 weeks - with precious 'vacation days' taken up by flying and then jet lag. We get 6 weeks off in our summer (your winter) but I've never been sure if I'd regret visiting when its 'cold'. I know we're only a few episodes into the series, but I'm already convinced that the North Island would be a good place to visit in July/August. Today's Vlog has brought back such fond memories of my visits to Yellowstone... which I LOVE. I think a trip to NZ will be on the cards some point soon after all this Covid-craziness allows the freedom of travel again. I'm looking forward to the vlogs that will follow ❤️
I live in Nz, there is still heaps to do during winter, depending on your interests! Plus things can be a bit cheaper too during the off-peak times. I live in Auckland and winter this year has been pretty mild.
@Jessica Bell Thanks Jessica. So much is telling me to just bite the bullet and book flights when I can. I also like the idea of cheaper prices! 🙌 I'm very intrigued to see what winter on the South Island is like.
Honestly, we weren't sure about doing this trip in the winter either. We were worried we'd miss out on a lot of things like hikes/outdoorsy stuff. To be fair it has been a very mild winter but we would definitely still recommend it. We hear what you're saying about the flights and jetlag though, its a loooong way from the UK but so worth it! We hope you manage to tick NZ off your bucketlist once things settle down in the world! Always here if you need any recommendations / advice 😁
@Daneger and Stacey Whoa, with the huge number of subscribers you guys have, I hadn't really expected my message to be read! 🤭 Thanks for taking the time to read it ❤️❤️ I'll share my love for your videos more often now 😉
What an amazing video. It is so beautiful in the park! But um, I don't think that preview for next week looks so good for Daneger's back, although it looks great for entertainment and having fun!
Thank you! Errmm I think Daneger is gonna be told off quite a few times throughout this series 😂 he certainly didn't act like someone with a broken back 🙈
What unique and beautiful place. Dane - Stacey had mentioned you were color blind. I have seen UA-cam videos of people trying on special sunglasses that enables them to see color. Fyi. Your country is so beautiful it can be a game changer.
@@DanegerAndStacey I just want to say I love that you guys always take the time to respond back to your subscribers (actually even non-subscribers who comment). I follow other UA-cam travel vloggers as well but none of them respond to me like you do. Now I feel a more personal connection with you guys and you are becoming my favorite of the lot. ♥️
We appreciate that mate! It takes time (hence Stace sometimes, me right now) but we enjoy the chat. I’m still waiting to try those glasses at some stage!
You guys are a breath of fresh air, pun intended 🤣🤣❗️ Looking at the vids, we can still remember the smells. BTW the smells are much more pervasive than Yellowstone in the US. We remember walking out of a grocery and getting hit in the face with the smells.

Wauw 🤩 looks stunning. 😂😂apart from Rotten egg smell round you 🤢 .Lookforward to next video exciting adventures by the looks of your sneak peak 😜🤫. Take care .
This made me laugh because of the smell of the sulphur but it was beautiful all the same! I think Lady Knox would be a favourite of mine if I ever got to see her
Thorfinn986_doesn't_do_average That’s what Dane and Stacey are talking about in the video. Feeding the geyser soap lowers the surface tension of the water, which makes it erupt.
The end of this vid has a little sneak peek of some footage we haven't shown yet 😵 IT. WAS. EPIC.
the audio from the GoPro is on point!
@@mykabe we sometimes use our other camera to audio - the gopro doesnt usually do a very good job.
@@DanegerAndStacey oh thanks for the clarification :) just shows you put extra effort to your vlogs which people don't often get to see.
I have been to your lovely country in 1986 and i truly loved it and will never forget it.
This is a really cool series, it is certainly bringing back memories of my 3 month trip around New Zealand in 1998!!!!
We're so happy to hear that! Wow, bet things were a little different in '98! Definitely no one wearing masks... haha
I love how both informative and beautiful this video is.
Thank you 😁
Another fantastic one guys, keep it up love it.

At the end of your 5 weeks, would you have a route and cost of each activities, so I can save up and duplicate next year.
We might do - we still have a lot of videos to get through before then :)

I went to Rotorua for the first time a couple of years ago for my birthday and adored it 💖 I could like there for sure, even with the smell
