William Bruce Rose Jr., aka Axl Rose, was born on February 6, 1962 in Lafayette, Indiana.
Rose routinely got into contact with the law and served time in jail for violence and public intoxication.
Rose played in bands including Hollywood Rose, L.A. Guns, and Rapid Fire while also working odd jobs to support himself.
He later went on to join Guns N' Roses.
Axl Rose and Dizzy Reed were the remaining band members from Guns N Roses, until Rose recruited new members for the band. The band's first appearance took place at the MTV Awards 2000, and in 2008 the band released new album Chinese Democracy.
