Really nice video! These are general good rules of thumb. I have 2 glow hexes- 1 space race and the other a Lizottl. They're the same run as far as I know. The Lizottl flies a lot like my Neutron Hex and and the Space Race flies straight with 0 turn and a gentle fade. So whilst we attribute a lot to different plastics and rightfully so, I just said all this to remind people that there can be differences in flight to what you're expecting when you purchase a disc

I think the space race run was tweaked slightly so that the Lizottl was the first glow disc that did NOT fly more OS relative to premium version. In other words, SR Glow is generally more OS than Lizottl Glow.
Also, Neutron Soft has in my experience always been more OS than Neutron, at least across Envy/Particle/Proxy comparisons from years ago.

I have a soft neutron uplink and my friend has a normal neutron one, and I'd say mine is much more understable. I use my soft one for anhyzer doglegs because I refuse to get a forehand, and his is more of a medium hyzerflip option
I can’t speak to the SR glow. But my haloween lizzotle flight is closer to my reactor than it is to my proton or fission hexes.

Most brands the clear premium plastic is more stable, but proton definitely flies similar to neutron most of the time. Plasma is the weird one that is sometimes more stable and sometimes less

“I was expecting that to be more stable.” -anyone who’s thrown proton plastic ever. Unless it’s prism proton. Agree 100% about eclipse/glow plastic-it’s a different run every time. Cosmic neutron is consistently the most overstable in every run followed by soft neutron.

I was told cosmic neutron is the most stable. However I got a neutron wave, a cosmic neutron wave, and a proton wave. The Neutron is the most stable of the bunch. I need to try a plasma wave. I have a plasma Servo and a Neutron Servo, the neutron is very straight, and the plasma throws more like a Tbird, pretty stable with a healthy fade at the end. Which is why I want to try a plasma wave, hopefully the most stable of the bunch.

I bag 3 hex's. Fission, neutron, and glow. I also bag the pyro and uplink which covers literally any midrange shot you come across

Is fission more OS than Glow? Just curious because I'm looking to buy another Hex. I sold my Neutron Hex because it still felt understable to me when crushing it 🤔
@austino6710 the fission is the least stable. The eclipse is my most stable. That's consistent with all of their molds.
The hex is too US for me at sea level but i live in high elevation so its great up here.
@@InbredJed82060 Dang man, it seems everyone is saying different things about fission. I've seen two or three vids saying it is comparable to eclipse, and proton as long as it's around 170G.
I'm conflicted about buying one, but I just bought a 171G Proton so I'll find out how that flies soon. Thanks for the reply 👍

Which one should i choose to get the most straight one? Neutron or glow?
Neutron is less stable than glow… depends on your arm speed/distance. Can you test out a friends? Fission is even less stable (especially in lighter weight).
@@localdiscgolf the more stable the straighter right? And no i have no one else throwing mvp in my group unfortunately
@@VallentinProductions I'm just trying to get a sense for what to recommend... What's your driver of choice? How far do you throw it? I live at elevation, but typically throw a 9-10 speed 300ish (275-350). At elevation I find my glow has some dependable fade. My neutron had less fade (fairly straight) and my fission would flip up.

The proton hex is money. First ace win it, so I’m biased.
Space Race Glow are terrible, they have no glide compared to regular neutron. Really disappointing…
Curious to see if the Lizotte Halloween hex will fly different.

Hey, that's fair! Personally, we are trying to represent the average disc golfer. There are definitely disc golfers that are more dialed on form. Hope you find a consistent reviewer. Bodanza is awesome! Nate Turner is also worth checking out. Cheers!
