I found Demash in 2016; he has only grown since then! My husband and I love him so much that we dipped into our life savings to go see him in NY. It took days to feel grounded again. I can’t explain why or how, but going to this event brought a very deep intrinsic change in me. There are typically 20-40 countries and cultures that present themselves as “Dears”. His otherworldly persona speaks a language of love,hope, and inclusion that all people understand, and desire. If you ever have the opportunity to go to one of concerts, do whatever you have to do to go. It’s nice to be a part of something that is so much bigger than yourself ❣️

Yes, his band members are all friends and the percussionist is fantastic and when Dimash jams with his band members at the end of concerts, they are great together because Dimash plays drums, along with 6 other instruments, so they go to town when playing together! Every performance seems to feature the percussionist more than the other players, which i find very amusing. I have a friend who looks like him so it is doubly memorable. The triangle somehow makes it into almost every video. Maybe one of the cameramen has a crush? All Dimash musicians and backing vocal singers have a very stablished careers. Rassul is an awarded musical actor, Zarina is a vocal leader of a Jazz band. Dimash works only with the best and they stay with him for years. He takes a half of an hour in the end of his concerts to guarantee each one of them have their solo on the stage. And most of the time he gives a special attention to the percussionist... The coolest thing I saw Dimash do was when he surprised Rassul, making him singing one whole solo song (a tradicional song of the etnia Rassul belongs) on the stage while he went to the band to play the piano for him (nobody knew he will do that, only Dimash could play that song for Rassul). I never watched a singer do that: not just let the backing vocal sing alone on the stage (that is quite common when the singer need to get out of stage to change outfits, for example), but play the piano to accompany the backing vocal to make sure he would have the attention and appreciation he deserves. He also gives a shoutout, by name, to many others not on the stage who helped put the concert together, including his arranger, the director, his family, etc. He never takes any member of his team for granted.

The wings - since it was during the pandemic & there was no audience, I would think it would be way, way easier to do that post-production, that way you can make the wings fit him, instead of having him stand in a certain place so the wings will be lined up. He still wouldn't move a lot, because that would make post-production wings easier as well. The same with the tornado in Samaltau (also from the Digital Show) - in my opinion, anyway.

Dimash 2023-Vocal range: Growls (vocal fry): G0-G1
Vocal Fry: G#1 - D2
Chest voice: E2-C#5
Mixed voice: D5-C6
Head voice: C#6 - F#6
Whistle: E7-D8
Natural range: E2 - F#6 4.2 octaves
*Full range: G0 - D8 7.7 octaves
To put it in context:
He sings lower than bass in Opera. The lowest note is usually C2....and higher longer sustained whistle note.
Total Dimash range is G0-D8. By the way, a D8 is a couple of keys past the end of a piano.
Who is Dimash? Only the singer of the millennia. From Kazakhstan, beginning his singing career at age 5 (he's 29 now), Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. His range extends from the top of the bass register to the highest notes of the coloratura soprano and whistle register. His first digital music album "ID" went platinum in only 37 seconds after release, and 3x platinum in only one hour, and 5x platinum in only one day on Chinese music platforms In December 2019, he made his US debut in New York at the Barclays Center. All Dimash musicians and backing vocal singers have a very stablished careers. Rassul is an awarded musical actor, Zarina is a vocal leader of a Jazz band. Dimash works only with the best and they stay with him for years. He takes a half of an hour in the end of his concerts to guarantee each one of them have their solo on the stage. And most of the time he gives a special attention to the percussionist...
The coolest thing I saw Dimash do was when he surprised Rassul, making him singing one whole solo song (a tradicional song of the etnia Rassul belongs) on the stage while he went to the band to play the piano for him (nobody knew he will do that, only Dimash could play that song for Rassul). I never watched a singer do that: not just let the backing vocal sing alone on the stage (that is quite common when the singer need to get out of stage to change outfits, for example), but play the piano to accompany the backing vocal to make sure he would have the attention and appreciation he deserves. The percussion guy is very famous in Russia. I think he has UA-cam channel where he did solo concert playing multiple instruments... at the same time 😮 Dimash’s team are not ordinary musicians.

Correction: Many of us have not had/will not have the opportunity to see him live. We don't know that he introduces every band member individually at the end of a concert. We see youtube videos where he will thank the band at the end of a performance. Or we see interviews where he talks about his band.

@@lindah3803 @thewarriorforever is correct. There are quite a few videos on UA-cam of his concerts where he does indeed individually introduce his back up singers and each member of his band. He also gives a shoutout, by name, to many others not on the stage who helped put the concert together, including his arranger, the director, his family, etc. He never takes any member of his team for granted.

The wings - since it was during the pandemic & there was no audience, I would think it would be way, way easier to do that post-production, that way you can make the wings fit him, instead of having him stand in a certain place so the wings will be lined up. He still wouldn't move a lot, because that would make post-production wings easier as well. The same with the tornado in Samaltau (also from the Digital Show) - in my opinion, anyway.
