Maestro Michel Berger, for sure, would have been happy if it was such a performer who would have come to him for an audition - all the notes were effortlessly taken, and how much strength and tenderness in this performance, what actor’s presentation of each line exactly according to the content of the song. "S.O.S." Dimasha, like a scarf with a magical aroma, flying over the square in the "Perfumer" - one wave and everyone is fascinated! The tone is incredible, penetrating the very heart!

You know, being a bit obsessed with Dimash, I've watched every single professional vocalist on UA-cam analyzing him and you are probably the only one (that at least I can remember) that went back to listen to the song twice. And what's really nice is that I don't think you initially intended to do so, but the song kind of drag you in it. The second time around you really seemed to absorb every single musical phrase of it and it's a great thing to see, because apart from a technical analysis, this is such a beautifully executed song that captivates us and it's really nice to see a professional singer wanting to listen to this just for the joy of listening it and not just to analyze it!! First time seeing him, he draws you in with his incredible good looks, his humble ways then hits you with the incredible vocals. As he sings he keeps drawing you in. The way you describe his techniques it helps people really listen and understand him and enjoy the music more. Thanks for sharing.
He's the most physically gifted singer I've ever heard. The most accurate singer I've ever heard. The most emotive singer (in voice and in presentation) I've ever heard. The most versatile singer I've ever heard. He has more facility with his instrument than any singer I've ever heard. Now, I admit I have a narrow sample size, but I can't imagine anyone doing all the things he does as well as -- much less better than -- he does.
“Breaks my heart” Yes Elizabeth! “He’s so perfectly on pitch.” Yes and he is consistently, ALWAYS on pitch! What a masterful performance 🏆 BTW there are a lot of reactions to this song on UA-cam but yours is one of the best.
The Slavic Bazaar version has cleaner pronounciation and stronger bottom end in the rising pitch part at the beginning of the piece. However I find the chinese Singer version to be much more interesting and emotive with some effects rarely repeated in later performances.
Listen to the last phrase on the Singer version as I feel it’s far better with the small crescendo and decrescendo (if that’s the right term) incorporated in it.
I always felt this version was a little over produced. Almost sounds kinda autotuny. I know that's not an actual word, but I get that vibe from it. We all know he doesn't need it, but it just sounds like it in some places.

I highly recommend you listen to the "Singer" version of this performance on your own to hear the different choices and colors/textures he used in that performance which for me is my favorite version. Also the ending for me was better as well.
When I first listen this song by Dimash, I keep listen for a week, and dig the original singer to compare, and after that I dig every Dimash song, and I like them all, his Kazk song is really good, and I don't understand what he is singing but very touching . I've watched over 100 reaction-to-Dimash videos in the last almost 2 years (doubling as voice lessons) and was trying to figure out why it's so enjoyable to watch u...then it hit me: knowing that u are such an accomplished singer and "been there" and yet u allow yourself to react like a vulnerable school girl (or boy). In other words, you are an excited fan and yet brilliance comes out of your mouth. For those of us who allow it, Dimash transports us to a place of innocence and beauty. A slice of paradise. BTW there are a lot of reactions to this song on UA-cam but yours is one of the best.
The Slavic Bazaar version has cleaner pronounciation and stronger bottom end in the rising pitch part at the beginning of the piece. However I find the chinese Singer version to be much more interesting and emotive with some effects rarely repeated in later performances.

Listen to the last phrase on the Singer version as I feel it’s far better with the small crescendo and decrescendo (if that’s the right term)
incorporated in it.
I always felt this version was a little over produced. Almost sounds kinda autotuny. I know that's not an actual word, but I get that vibe from it. We all know he doesn't need it, but it just sounds like it in some places.
@@randywissler9923 Over produced is a good word I think. The "Singer" version felt more live/raw yet still extremely polished vocally, and I think the live backing music was way better on the "Singer".

I highly recommend you listen to the "Singer" version of this performance on your own to hear the different choices and colors/textures he used in that performance which for me is my favorite version. Also the ending for me was better as well.

MY REVIEW OF REACTIONS TO DIMASH AS A SINGER
The Stage settings and lightings superbly done. Full orchestra with harp, violins, flutes, piano and backup chorus. Every musical instrument is in perfect harmony with his voice and body movements. His mesmerising facial expressions; his darting penetrating eyes; flirty smiles and his timely hands movements gracing every song as if he is the conductor of the entire orchestra.
The famous composer and musician, Igor Krutoy with his fingers on the piano, awaits for cues from Dimash voice and every move and he harmoniously weaves them in one swoop of magical unity.
Dimash is the music and he is the song. His emotive interpretation of the lyrics of the songs touches all hearts and souls. His passionate endearing angelic crisp and lingering voice; his stage presence, takes you to a higher level, a melodic dramatic journey from 'so in the moment' to places far yonder. He totally owns the stage, spell binding the audience including vocal coaches of the world.
Despite language barriers, the expressive power of his voice moved them to tears.
