Installing an E30 Stereo From Scratch

- Documenting the install of the stereo into my E30. I will be going into more details on how it sounds and setting up the equalizer/amp once the rest of the interior is in and the sound is accurate to what it will be when driving.

Just an idea for some who dont want to cut carpet and drill their floorboard for the amp. I typically put a piece of plywood same size as amp under the carpet with amp above carpet and run screws through the carpet into the wood. It stays nice and secure. Sometimes if the carpet is real loose, ill put locking velcro under the plywood to keep it from moving, but thats typically not necessary.
Works great and non invasive.
You may not realise it but these videos help us e30 fans a lot, nice to see vocals inside too, love to hear it soon

Great system, we have some similarities, I ended up going with the Addison bit 10 for dsp. Great work and video

Hello, the power wires are not laid together with the wires from the speakers, when the car starts the engine the background from the speakers will become even stronger
And I forgot, RCA or signal wires, I don’t know what they are called here, you also can’t lay them with power wires, that’s how they install music in Russia: Power on the driver's side, acoustic on the passenger side and RCA or signal in the middle somewhere, or 10 centimeters from the acoustic

Very interested to know what screen that is… and also if you would be willing to share/sell 3d print files. I had a similar idea about relocating vents. But you have done a great job of it…
Would love to know how the seats fit as well for those Subs, I've been waiting todo this as I've been thinking if the stock seats will move back and fourth over the subs and function without creating or scraping them.

Put some foam tape between speaker and metal for kickpanel midwoofers.
