    Sir David, this is great and so helpful. I just got the set and the rim cymbal was blowing out my ears and the snare was subdued. I thought I made a mistake getting the kit, but you video really, really helped.

      Can I adjust the volume per toms?

  • @viktornagy80
    @viktornagy80 Рік тому +2

    Hello, I have the same drumkit, but I think sensitivity means only the volume here. Just to explain I have an issue with the cymbals like when setting all of them to the maximum "sensitivity" the way you do, but one of them I have to hit harder than the others to get any sound. Do you have an idea how to fix it?

    • @orodrummer
      @orodrummer  Рік тому +1

      Maybe bad cable? I would swap out one of the other cables from a working pad and see if the problem still persists. If it does you w=might have a hardware issue with the pad.

    • @viktornagy80
      @viktornagy80 Рік тому

      @@orodrummer Thanks! I'm afraid it's not the cable. Do you know if I can try anything with the pad or trigger before replacing? Or can I replace only the trigger without buying a brand new pad?

      It seems possible but I've never had to do it. Maybe call Roland support and see what they think?

    I want to know if it is possible to add an extra ride cymbal without removing one of the cymbals it comes with?

    Hi will this be a pretty similar process with the Roland TD-1DMK V-Drums?

    I have the same kit and what does the sensitivity do?

    • @orodrummer
      @orodrummer  2 роки тому +1

      Sensitivity refers to how sensitive the pads are. I believe the higher numbers make the pads more sensitive to touch and vice versa.

    I have a TD1-DMK and the bass was really low and had no punch. It was set at a default 9 I pumped it up to 20, what a difference!

    First of all, I'm writing the spanish version after the English version, not sure which language I'm supposed to be writing in.
    I bought my TD-1 V Drums 2 years or something ago, I have been wanting to use them with my computer, to record and stream but I have no idea how to do it, I've been asking friends and they also don't know how. So please help, tell me if I need a program or what, I have understanding that one needs to download a controler or something and the computer will recognise the drums but I don't know where to find said controller/plugin or whatever.
    Hope you can help me,
    Andrea.
    Versión en español.
    Compré mi batería TD-1 aproximadamente hace 2 años, he querido utilizarla con mi computadora, para grabar y hacer videos en vivo pero no tengo idea de como hacerlo, he consultado con amigos y tampoco saben como. Así que por favor ayúdenme, díganme si necesito un programa o algo, tengo entendido que uno necesita descargar un controlados o algo y la computadora reconocerá la batería pero no se donde encontrar dicho controlador o plugin o lo que sea.
    Espero que puedan ayudarme,
    Andrea.

      As long as your computer has a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) software such as Garage Band or Logic Pro it's super easy to record. You can attach a USB cable from the TD-1KV Module to your computer and open your DAW software to record or stream. In terms of details of the DAW software it depends on what software you decide to use. I recommend you research DAW software fist and then once you decide on one you find a ton of resources on how to use that software either in the user guide or researching on the internet. I would focus on learning the recording process first before learning how to stream. Good luck!

    Just checking with you all who have this set. Is the volume of the kit a bit too low compared to the play along songs in the module? I might have to check if someone has messed with the sensitivity of the pads or something though. Btw, the thing can be factory reset as well. Do you know if the sensitivity is set equal on all for a factory reset control module?

    • @orodrummer
      @orodrummer  Місяць тому

      I no longer own the set so hopefully someone that does can chime in. My guess would be sensitivity is set equalon factory reset but I would check the user guide.
