Thank you! I agree with your assessments of this issue, especially on that suit, and the sweet peas are so pretty!

Strange that Burda did not pattern match the shift dresses, don’t you agree? It would be easy to lay the front piece on the fold though. Why bother to have a perfectly straight front seam? Thanks again for the video, Hila.

I agree with the bare skin thoughts. I am very flat, but wouldn't dare!

I don't get some of the styling choices in this edition. I cringed when I saw the pant suit with a bathing suit as a top? Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

What fabric would you recommend for a beginner to try the Marlenas Dietrich pants? Would it work ok with a stiffer woven like a quilting cotton or am u setting myself for a fashion disaster 😂

I think a stiffer woven will be good for making a toile garment as it will make it easier to transfer any length alterations for instance. The ideal fabric for a Marlena Dietrich look would be medium weight but some drape like a twill or worsted wool or suiting fabric.. Some lightweight denim or medium weight sateen would be beautiful. If you want a more modern 'fluid pyjama look' then a medium weight crepe would work with a lightweight crepe being more floaty but you'd be bordering into palazzo pants area.
