- „. . . Dopamine . . .“ is yet another of the „Hypnotic Productions“ mixed media works that tell extended tales of life here in „New York City“ a.k.a. the „Big Apple“.
„Dopamine“ is the reward chemical.
It signals to us that we have accomplished feats that contribute to our physical and mental well-being.
It is released after we eat a good meal because we have just taken in vital nutrients or after we create a work of art we are satisfied with because we express ourselves and leave a mark on human culture and civilization.
Many culturally sanctioned substances such as coffee or tobacco will enhance the body’s natural release of the reward chemical „Dopamine“. They will increase energy to help with the achievement of further feats that embody such rewards or accomplishments. It is a natural biological recreational cycle.
So „thank you very much for smoking“.
Let „Hypnotic Productions“ take you on a psychedelically inspired journey through the big city from bright early morning to the dark of night. It is a well known fact that the city we live in never sleeps. Someone somewhere will always be awake actively pursuing the art of creation.
