The resin beast entry was really nice. Good job on the wings and nice use of purple there. Works well. I also think the Mindstealer was good. The best out of the golden daemon entries in my opinion. Andy Wardle (cult of paint) has a video on painting fur. Really was great to watch. Maybe a combination of the two techniques may bring out something special.
2:42. Recently came back from GD UK and asked a judge what the sticker meant. Hopefully they use the same color coding at GD US. green: through to the first round purple: entered on the last day; these are just meant to keep track of which ones have not been judged yet yellow: fragile blue: photo has been taken (good sign, because they take photo's of all commended entries) So my guess is you got a green sticker (or equivalent), which means that they had a second look to judge if you get a pin, commended or neither.
