Kajana's "Alistair Revised Romance" mod is an absolute gem, and little scenes like this one are a perfect example why. As a human female noble, before the Landsmeet, you can ask Alistair to marry you. If he agrees, then after the Landsmeet... you get this really cute proposal cut scene. It's small and simple but... THEM PUPPY EYES.
I added one of the kisses from the mod available in camp at the end, because it felt right for them to share a kiss after proposing. ;)

Alistair makes me pretend to feel what it's like to have a boyfriend. It's nice to pretend sometimes.
Alistair is my very first crush for anything I'd want in a man. Handsome, caring, brave, powerful, strong, smart, funny, respectful and very down to earth... honestly I cried at times when I chose the wrong thing (in our convo) and he lost interest in me. 🤣
When they ever make a remaster or remake of Origins, I wish to have a romantic proposal for Alistair * Cousland, not infront of my party members, not infront of the landsmeet, a real wedding. Alistair and his Warden deserves little more love from the game. Don't get me wrong I love DahliaLynn' s or Kajana's and all the other Alistair ❤️ Mods. I just want the game to give them a little bit more love. There is so much potential, they could even work together with the modders.
Alistair is the definition of a good man.

In my next pt he and my Cousland become sibling-like best friends, and they remain in the Wardens together... but that’s ok because he has someone else to love him 😁 I have a bit of an AU element in a world state spanning the 3 games in mind xD

I usually played Male noble dwarf rogue, Dalish elf or male Cousland Rogue. I had this game since 2009 and only since 2017, after watching all these Alistair romance videos I played as female Cousland (with mods). Now I wonder why I didn’t try this play through from the start.
It’s the best Origin+Romance pairing in my (biased) opinion ^_^
LithIthilwa After playing it I agree, Male romances don’t have same depth in DAO and even in DAI, as does female ones.
