Regarding the activation, it follows the correct pattern [- + - +]. As for the max speed adjustment, it would have been 10/10 to see how it's raised from the default setting. Anyway - great work. Ride on!
My (Canadian purchased) 2022 SCOTT Strike eRIDE 920 has the BOSCH Performance Line CX GEN-4 , which has 5 plugs all with wires going into them . Is there some other product or adapter that I'd require to make this work?

what bosch display is this in the video? Is it possible to use the basic flow app as the speed display? I cant seem to get it to to to max speed. I only get 31kmph
Hi you can use your phone only with special atachment and use it like a display!
I have a new bike today with this Bosch system and CX motor. Just concerned about warranty issues, detection and my motor randomly shutting down with error codes. Is it really worth it? My bike is new today and I am sure it has been updated with the latest firmware. Will this be an issue?
Just use this tuning and noting elese for Smart System! SB 1.0 is trowing errors!
I am using the volspeed for about 7 months now. After the first time updating (via Flow app) it got detected. I got the error cleared by a local bicycle dealer. Since then I have been using the chip without upgrading, no problems. I do not dare to install updates anymore. Well, I do not use the Flow app anyway, only to unlock the bike, after which I get out of the app while riding.
What about connecting the Volspeed and then when it goes back to the dealer for service and still under warranty, can I just remove the Volspeed and then put it back on afterwards? I rode my bike from new this week and then decided to connect the flow app and it detected all my details like distance and different power modes used. Obviously I don’t want the deal to know I’ve used Volspeed. Thanks for any help.

thanks for your videos, I am looking for a unlock feature for Bosch Performance CX Gen 4 Smart motor. I'm not looking for crazy speeds eg 35km/hr is fine. Can you still use the flow app with this or will there be risk of error? What does the countdown mean? And what do you do if there is an error?
Hi, you can use the Flow app! If an error code pop out, you neer to remove the tuning and go to a Bosch dealer with a software.
I got the latest update 12.13 on my new ebike, will it work on that?

Something you dont explain is the dynamic modus. This is really Great and the Code you can make custom.

@@ferten501 In tunining mode i pressed the combination and 11 was showed up on the display! The bike feels more powerful and smooth!

Speed Box is planing to relise a retrofit for SB 1.0 tuning to solve this problem

The Volspeed tuning is the best in terms of tuning detection!
@@powerbikesbg Okay, but if you connect the chip to the motor, there is some cumunication, so there is always some risk to be detected by bloody Bosch system. Every producer has some kind of problem with the system errors. So I'm wondering in whether it can be prevented somehow, or at least minimized..
@@ivobojas5861 only option is to cnsider the countdown procedure after every ride in tuning mode! Change the screen to riding time and watch it till it stops to encrese.

Can anyone describe what this does to battery life at all? How much time is it reduced by? I know not going to be doing 45 all the time but just wondering how much the life is cut by. Thank you.
I get about 40% less. So 60km with and 100km without.
The batery life is not afected! Only by riding on chip mode the power consumtion is higher!

@@george9905 I have a cube action team 160 2023 I don’t use it that much. I only turn it on when I’m riding from one spot to another on flats Then turn it off It’s a great addition. Just make sure you turn automatic updates off 👍🏼

hey buddy .. seems like your looking for the same solution , I got my bike locked on a speedbox ! on my Smart system .. I unknowingly tried to update the flow app . which led to the bikes brain seeing the chip manipulation , and the bike froze up ..
looks lie Volspeed could be good ..
but checking also for longevity of the chip
I have no problems with this tuning so far!

You have to correct the speed limit to 45
there is no app via bluetooth like with speedbox to have the real speed on the phone.
yes, i didnt say that tere is an app for VSpeed tuning

Im guessing ?!?!?! Do not use the Flow APP for any updates once the Chip is installed !
this is what happened to me with Speedbox !
even go as far as to remove the FLOW app from your phone !
UPDATES WILL KILL THE BIKE !!
the updates will recognise the Chip and the bike will malfunction and will then be locked and manipulated .
No problems with this type of tuning!

@@powerbikesbg thanks for the reply, is there a way i can turn off auto updates on Flo app if i download it? does it automatically install the updates or can you choose to say NO or turn off updates?, that is the only part that worry's me, otherwise i would like to use Flo app but i believed it automatically updates the bike without asking, so can i turn off update or do i just ignore them?, thanks for your replies
@Lawson7086 All updates have to be started manually, so do not worry! If you do not wabt to update the bike, do not click on update button in the Flow app. The updates can not be deactivated..
