My friend told me that when she had a kid she didn’t become a different person, but her center of gravity had shifted, and she now contains an additional multitude. No part of her is gone, and no part of her is unchanged. I wish you so much joy!!!

That reminds me of something my orchestra conductor once told us when his first baby was born! He said leading up to the birth he thought his love for his wife/family would be divided, but instead it multiplied and he had even more love to give as opposed to the same “quantity” of love divided among more people 😊

Regarding the Rose Inc. foundation: I have tried 2N and it is not golden. It is a desaturated neutral color. It is not as light as the lightest shade in the concealer, but it does seem like they go together. The issue for me was that the foundation really settled into my fine lines. Congrats and glad you are back! ❤

You might want to actually check this one out in store, or go watch a detailed swatch video, because there’s actually a TON of variety here. Lots of beautiful wet look toppers in a variety of shifts and then there’s a variety of really interesting shades and tones to layer them over. I only have a few multi-chromes, either in palettes and a couple singles and have carts full on the clionadh, terra moon, devianh, loonie etc websites, but just haven’t pulled the trigger on any yet. So hard to decide!
When this lightworks palette came out I watched some detailed videos & decided to get it, and it didn’t take me long to figure out that Danessa Myricks made it specifically to layer for that reason, but there’s also a ton of beautiful one & done and easy 2 shadow looks.
There’s all of the shades you described, plus darker gradients of beautifully blendable bases that are grungy & interesting. I literally spent 2 hrs doing arm swatches just layering the possibilities after I got it in the mail 😂
harry keeps his company "pleasing" very separate from his music so that people take it more seriously i think. the fragrances aren't references but i think the names are so cool!! welcome back hannah we missed you

Another pale olive skin tone here…get the rose inc foundation. It’s beautiful and the shade match is like none other. It really appears as though it was made to match the concealer. It isn’t as pale as I normally go for, but once it’s on, the undertone is so spot on that it’s seamless

Thanks to tinnitus I need noise to fall asleep. White noise doesn't work though. It has to be something like an audiobook or a show or something and it needs to be something that I've watched/listened to enough that my brain isn't fully engaged in it. I watched the palettes video through once while I was working on sewing projects (all of those videos were great for that) and then it became my latest go to fall asleep video because your voice and content are very calming.
I never put it together with my tinnitus, but I need that kind of noise to fall asleep, too. I need words to both hear and zone out from at the same time.
@@auntrori Yea exactly. Typically I'll have a go to piece of media that I will use for a stretch (a favourite episode of an often watched show for example) but inevitably I will get bored of that or it will stop helping me fall asleep. These edited compilations have been perfect.

YAY HANNAH- WELCOME BACK!! getting to hear a fresh Hannah inflection on “you know” made my day. So glad that the parental leave went well, and also very excited to have you back - you have been missed. You did great 💕
Couple quick hot take notes - Stila just came out with some mini sparkle glitter pans that are like a mix between the fenty diamond bomb & the heavenly hue highlight & you might want to check them out because they’re exactly what like you described the Patrick Ta sparkle dust as but in a much easier & less messy cream formula. There’s only 4 shades, and the silver white one is def the prettiest, the rest are very basic pink, very yellow gold and I think a rose gold or bronze. But the silvery-white shade is gorgeously wet looking pin pricks of sparkle perfect for the holidays! I am def going to use some points to get one.
Also, I have been wanting to dip my fingers and face into multi-chromes for quite awhile, I have a few & love them but haven’t actually splurged so the Danessa Myricks lightworks palette was perfect for someone like me.
The reason I’m bringing it up is that Im actually not a big “bam, west a lot of colour girl” either these days, and I would actually say that this palette isn’t how you described it.
it’s actually incredibly sophisticated & well thought out. Essentially what she did is provide beautiful iridescent multi-chromes, and then an assortment of interesting & slightly grungy different tones of satin/shiny& blendable bases that the multi chrome & shimmer toppers can be layered over to create a variety of looks that it would take a whole lot of single shadows to get the same multi-chrome shift but with varied bases from.
I was watching an incredibly detailed swatch video of clionadh shades, to dip my toes in during the sale - and one of the main things that became obvious is that there is a number of multi-chrome combinations and then they get added into different tone of base.
She also includes a few smooth multi-chromes like a red to black to gold with sparkle, and peach to gold to green. And she includes some gorgeous super sparkle toppers.
The combinations you can create by layering are amazing, but there are also a ton of beautiful one and dones, and/or very easy two shadow looks there as well.
I think for anyone who already has a decent collection of favourite multi-chrome singles and/or palettes this palette could certainly add something, especially ease of use for travel etc - but it’s really perfect for ppl like me who want to get introduced to some beautiful formulas and experiment to see if mult-chrome shadows are for them, and what combos are your fave.

Welcome back, Hannah! On the Hermès eyeshadow, I bought the 05 and 06 colour stories. I absolutely LOVE them! The minimalist nature of them is so user friendly (not a million shadows to choose from in a larger palette) and the formula is wonderful. I think the Fumée colour story would be great on you. I love how the Mordorées palette has two shimmer shades.
Please review these! They look so pretty, but I want the Hannah review before even thinking about purchasing!

what are the shimmers like? are they standard boring luxury satin-esque shimmers, or are they impactful, shiny, sparkly dreams?
I would say that the shimmers I have are smooth and metallic. They are not chunky or messy like some of the Pat McGrath shimmers. I would say they are more like a smooth Natasha Denona shimmer. The texture of the shadows is thin and very buildable. With the shimmers you can get a sheer wash of light with a brush or a more impactful look with your finger. I've not tried them with a damp brush yet.@@mus1quenonst0p

Great to see you back! I don't do make up, but I appreciate the "theatre" of it. When I was 14, my mother told me in her blunt way that no amount of makeup would cover the flaws in my face. Which is true. What is also true is that some of these "flaws" are only flaws in the West. But, I have eyes that don't line up and other interesting features like severe myopia. But I don't care, actually, because it balances out the other qualities that I have. Did your mom ever feel compelled to cover her freckles? Do you have them? When I was a child people thought of them like acne, which is why I'm curious about your mom, although I might be older than she is. I also could never find foundation that was my color, since I grew up when "tan" was in and I'm one of those cool silver redheads. Even nylons were a joke. I get tired of being labeled a "Spring" because of the hair color and the light skin, when I just don't wear anything other than winter and some soft summer/soft autumn. I look miserable in browns and fabulous in grays. Go figure. So it's fun for me to watch someone as young and beautiful as you are to see what appeals to you. Like watching someone from Venus. Since I never could talk to girls like you in school, it's a treat for me to see you as if talking to you. Thank you, Hannah, for proving to me that someone like you could also be on the Buddhist path. Hah! All of those concealers are not light enough--there is still a problem in makeup.

i love ur take on harry styles' products - i agree, the fragrance names are iconic. although in my experience this is unrelated to his music... i don't find his lyrics particularly literary or even poetic lol (i'm sure fans of his have a different opinion to mine) but i can see him as a creative director for all these nail polishes, fragrances etc.
