About the Rare Beauty "Tinted Lip Oil," I watched Amanda Z's review in-depth on it and she describes it as not being a lip oil at all and that the company probably used it for marketing. In reality, it's more like a hydrating, plumping watery tint comparable to Korean water lip tints, and she even dupes the Rare Beauty product with one of the Korean water lip tints. Really great review, highly recommend if you're still on the fence about this particular product. For me personally, I'm not into lip plumpers so I'll just buy the Korean water lip tint dupe instead.

One of the advantages of being a vertical woman is being able to camouflage the bb bump for a bit longer if you choose to. I am only 5ft and was showing at 7wks. (Also had my head in the toilet the whole time too, so I do hope you enjoy a healthier and much more glamorous pregnancy also!) So Hannah, the glow is real and you’re working it! I love this new era of liquid lipsticks. It’s just so PRACTICAL. They last allllll day and if they can make some that don’t feel like a dry desert I’m here for it!!
Don't many of them wear off weirdly throughout the day and instead of touching it up, you're forced to remove it and reapply it all over again? I've never tried them because my lips are chronically dry, but they've never sounded practical to me.

Do you have any that you can recommend that don’t dry your lips out like a desert? I would love to find something that’s long wear that doesn’t leave my lips dry, chapped, and cracked.
I have always been a liquid lipstick woman. I love not having to re-apply my lipstick and I can wear it confidently.

I fell in love with lipstains in the aughts, but when they became hard to find, I started discovering the beauty of a featherlight application of liquid lippies. Now I use them several times a week, at full strength they do create an absolutely perfect "I'm in charge" lip haha
Lisa Eldridge’s video explaining the cleanser got me-the fact that it is proven to remove 100% of makeup, and that it also doubles as a mask with skincare benefits. I ordered it for both my mom and sister for an early Mother’s Day gift. Recently I discovered my mom used makeup wipes to remove her makeup at night, and she doesn’t use a cleanser after that 😮. So this felt like the perfect thing to get her into something that takes better care of her skin. And my sister has really sensitive skin and struggles to find things that work, so again the fact that it can be left on as a mask, and removes makeup, just seems fantastic! My sister has already used it several times and said she *loves* it and that her skin really feels better. I haven’t bought it for myself yet as I’m still in the middle of a cleansing balm and cleanser. But the fact that you don’t have to double cleanse, and that if you leave it on for longer, that it has added benefits, I can’t help but think about getting it for myself, too!
If you’re happy to spend for the luxury I’d recommend the cleanser, I really am enjoying it. The mist is nice but the cleanser really does feel like it’s caring for your skin
I gotta agree with Charlotte's Web...I was really on the fence about the cleanser but when I tried it I was blown away. It softened some really dry skin on my jawline-to-ear area that had been flaky for a while no matter what cleansing regime I used. It just came in the mail a few days ago so I've only used it maybe 4-5 times so far but I really REALLY like it. If it was only a cleanser I'd feel more upset but the fact that it really does make my skin more hydrated/moisturized and that it can be used as a mask, and negates the need for double cleansing (at least for me it did) makes me less upset about the higher price. I got her new cleansing cloths too and like them quite a bit.

By 2005, orange and coral tones were firmly in place as "colors of the era" (same concept as 60s-70s harvest gold & avocado green). I believe, yes, we are going to see lavender as a very modern makeup color - and I think a swing toward cooler toned products (get ready for the hot trend of the monochromatic lavender face in 5 yrs), and purples becoming more standard colors all around (cars, signage, product options, etc). I don't love to wear purples, but won't it be cool to see as much purple as we see orange tones now??

Lisa's video on her new launch is very interesting and on one hand i get why this cleanser is so expensive (and not gonna lie my first thought was "I WANT!"), but on another, I could not use it without feeling guilty. that is SO much money. you're right, if you want to buy something from her brand, go for the eyeshadow palette or a lipstick.
Totally agree! It sounds like a quality product. If you're someone with a budget for designer skincare then this looks like a beautiful, sophisticated formula rather than a formula with a dash of in house designer fragrance that gives you that luxury experience with a side of rosacea 😅 But if you don't normally spend that much on skincare DON'T DO IT ! Brand loyalty and curiosity should not come before your own peace of mind 😊 I am in a position to buy a lipstick or two for my birthday each year and I'll stick to that 💄
i'm here for the lavender! for anyone wanting to try out a glittery lavender eyeshadow, i highly recommend Revlon's colorstay cream eyeshadow in blackcurrant. i just put it on today after forgetting i had it- so pretty!

I LOVE the LE skin cleaner, it's very different than any other cleanser EVER. No fragrance, and you really only need a pea size for your face and neck. It's brilliant. I love it, and I have used many, many cleansers.

As far as the Lisa Eldridge cleanser, I think it also doubles as a mask, which makes it a more reasonable price. I love how much research she puts into each of her products. I get the feeling she doesn't launch a product until it's exactly what she wants.
I agree. She also did a clinical study that showed all makeup and sunscreen was removed so no double cleanse. Another possible cost savings in the long run. I am going to give it a try to see if it works for me for both uses. Fingers crossed😊

I'm a lover of liquid lipsticks. But I'm a little annoyed that they often don't carry a neutral deep brown. A nude for my skin tone isn't a mid-tone brown and a lot of brands don't take it for us deep skin ppl into consideration. Most of the times they're rosie-brown, reddish-brown or something else brown. My favourite neutral brown from NARS unfortunately was discontinued and I've been looking for a new one for up to a year now.
Unfortunately lately almost all brands have been raising their prices.
If anyone is looking for a brown kbeaity mousse-y lip tint, check out some of the brown Kaleidos lip clays OR Peripera ink velvet lip tint in cocoa nude.
Quick request for a very specific video for the holiday season. Your video from a few months back on layering sparkly eyeshadow to make new color led me to create a reptilian luminous green-brown with an iridescent squiggle on one side, and a "sparkly Disney blood" shade on the other eye. My video request - you and Kackie (color theory and villain era) creating villain-era holiday eye looks with this technique!!! Oooh I bet hautemesstom would be awesome at this too, they are not afraid to go beyond "cute." Please please please!!!! I love Lisa Eldridge, so I bought the cleanser, her hour long video really made me interested in it. So, I unfortunatelly love it😢, she says it has 200 uses, so for me it would be 6 months give or take. I hope that's true, cause it really made my skin hydrated, non greasy, didn't irritated my very sensitive skin, and it did remove every waterproof make I wear. And it feels luxurious of course, she thinks about that as well when she formulates products.

Beware the new Merit lip oils - they contain the “pH adjusting” pigment that basically just turns various shades of pink. With the sheerness of the pigment in the oil, they all end up looking the same after a little wear time!!! Super disappointing release IMO.

I am here to report that YES, lavender is the current color of the season! If you look back at eye pallets from the last few years, you can see the shift towards purple tones in makeup!

Normally I would completely agree on the price of a cleanser, but I highly recommend watching Lisa’s launch videos on all of the research & development that went into it as a treatment & mask and how little product is needed for each use. But of course it’s only a good purchase if it’s in the budget! 😊

Next, I'm one of the unfortunate (or perhaps not?) few who is actually a sucker for a luxury cleanser, especially as somebody who is always looking for the best textural experience in a balm/first step cleanser. I have a lot of stuff to work through, and there's a sense of permanence with the LE line where I'm not stressing about buying it now, but it's absolutely on my radar, and coming from somebody with her background, I just have this strong feeling/notion that she has actually created a truly unique experience. When I need another balm cleanser due to actual necessity, I might actually try it.
