- Went on a 2-night camping trip over the Father’s Day weekend. I had some fun filled events. Rain, snake, barking dogs all night, Jeep updates and showing some cool new gear.
**The timber rattlesnake was safely relocated up the road…absolutely no harm was done. I have 2 pet snakes and would never harm one….

Nice to see a responsible dog owner. Thanks for mentioning not to allow your dog(s) to bark all night. Shame it even needs to be said but so many IGNORANT dog owners out there that allow their dogs to bark incessantly.

The timber rattlesnake range is huge and can be anywhere from Florida to Texas to New Hampshire 😂 and anywhere in between, at anytime. They aren’t seen very often though. I’ve only seen this one in the wild. Others have said they’ve only seen 2 in their whole life and are out on trails and camping a lot more than me. Just gotta keep an eye out! This was on the TN and NC border though south of Greeneville TN
Dang I was at Horse Creek trail that same weekend. Must have been close by. Saw some fresh black bear prints but that’s it.
