Hi Fiona! Chilling time in freezer is needful because the dough is very soft. I've tried to bake them without the chilling time, but they turned out a bit too thin. Glad you like them

Do you think if I add some chopped Hazelnuts to the cookie dough it would affect the cooking, or would you roll the dough in the chopped nuts ? Also please tell your father Bouna Festa del Papa. The Zeppole is more associated with going to Little Italy in NYC with my friends when I was a kid and the smell of the street vendors during the San Genaro festival. @@HowTasty There was another video that uses the same ingredients as yours, minus the baking powder. It turned out fine but I guess the heat and time to bake it needs to be lowered. Otherwise, it will get too hard.

Hi Sana! If your oven doesn't feature fan option, use classic up and low heat without fan. It's possible you need some minutes more for baking them ;)
