Lockdown Lookback: Castle Ellen

Some stories just niggle away at you. Back when I started doing these videos, I stayed in an AirBnb in Athenry, Co. Galway.
Next door to the AirBnb was a large gateway with a sign outside, saying "Castle Ellen". I made a mental note to come back and cycle through the gateway and see what was up at the end of the avenue.
But, I never did, until one day, Castle Ellen reached out to me and beckoned me in - so to speak.
I couldn't have imagined who or what wonder I would find at the end of the avenue.

That was class! Wouldn't it be some crack for a week or two to get ten volunteers to give a dig out with the renovations?
