Thank you very much for your feedback. I want you to know that Belarus is not Russia, Belarus is a European state , it has its own culture , language and national identity . Come again to Belarus and visit other cities . Belarus is a beautiful country, especially in summer and autumn . Welcome to Belarus !))
I like your video so much as you appear to be a kind person. You showed my city of birth and youth in very lovely way. I have been living in Canada for more than 20 years. I love the city. However, I love my Canada as well.
Thank you very much for this video. I'm argentinean (we don't need any visa to get in Belarus) and the same happened to me in the border control, they seems rude and ask a lot of questions, they were very persistant about medical insurance. But the country and Minsk were awesome, a very unique country, i really like it. Greetings my friend.
c'mon that's ancestry of KGB :D That's their work :) Don't judge Belarusians by border control officers :) They're not quite welcoming but that's specific work. We don't have any borders with Russia so they check for any illegal things tourist may bring(drugs, etc..) cause after explosions in Russia security level increased and some criminals think that it would be easier to transfer through Belarus. So our border control have more work now :) Just be prepared that these officers may have problem with english :) that's why they read from book like Theo mentioned :) By the way - quite soon visa free period will be increased from 5 to 10 days for those who need visa :) Welcome to Belarus
Valeu!!
Thank you.... your video is pretty cool. I'm going to visit Minsk on Jan 2019, and little bit surprise when you said we could be jailed if we take photograph on government building, is that true? Thanks in advance
@@theosantana That's not true. I live in Minsk and I've never heard about it. There are a lot of people, tourists, students on this square. They take photos. And have no problems.
It's really low chance that you would be imprisoned. But you may be asked what are you doing and, maybe, they can ask you to delete photos. But still I never heard of anyone who got into such situation.
Brest, Belarus is very racist and definitely NOT wealthy. It is difficult to enter Belarus, such as your delay, because they do not accept foreigners well. Very inexpensive to live there in comparison to USA but wages are very low. Thank you for sharing.
This is not true. You must have been very unlucky. In general, the people are friendly and sociable. There are simply not enough people who speak English properly. Prices for food and accommodation may vary. You need to find out. Depends on how you purchase it. I am from Minsk. Good luck.
@@elzagluck1035 your displayed flaws through lowly language keeps you in the lower and that is where your dead end frustration comes. God bless you. I pray for your betterment
