Just found your channel a few days ago, and I must say, this is one of the most down to earth, common sense channels I have found regarding CC and reviews, thank you!

One important requirement for an IWB holster is the ability to easily reholster the weapon. It looks like the collar on that holster might be a bit too flexible.

This holster has a wire inside the
opening, I shaped mine better then seen here and it doesn't collapse a bit, this really is one comfortable rig

For me, if I have to run my belt through the holster clip, it is a no go for me. I will check their site to see if they have a clip on option. I not only like holster comfort but also the ease of use. Good review.

@robert warner It does not look like it is but upon further thought, it kind of has to be in order to be IWB. Thanks for correcting my dumbassery. 🤦‍♂

@bold, I own this very holster and have never worn a belt, the clip stays on my shorts(many time I use the soft belt found on cargo shorts) many times not,
It stays in place with my beer gut but the revolver easily comes out,
This simple holster is so comfortable I forget I'm wearing it, I also own a Galco pocket holster for the lcp and it too has been above expectations.

Thanks for the review. I have a Galco leather pocket holster for this firearm. It’s amazing. 0 movement when drawing. Looking for option when pockets are too small. If this had cant it would b perfect.

I think this could be a great option if you mean to carry a J-frame IWB... The SW642 ProSeries is my EDC backup, but I only carry it in a pocket (goofy front side pants pocket in a Kramer, or in my hand goofy side jacket holster-less, depending of the circumstances). But yeah... thanks for sharing.

Love mine. It’s got a LOT of wear (had a few years). It’s actually super dark now from wear. But it still works great. I use it aiwb when I feel lazy and carry my detective special or 642-2
Well after years of use mine finally broke yesterday (somehow stumbled on this video today lol). But probably lasted like 6-7 of moderate use. Would be like 3 years non stop. Oh and the clip snapped while putting it on my belt

Have you ever heard of HolsterPro? He makes great holsters for many makes and models. I have the pocket pouch for my 442. Thinking of getting his around the ankle and IWB for my 442 as well. Great video!

    Hello Concealed carry channel,
Why did you say this was well broken in?
I'm not trying to be rude or mean,
That holster is hardly broken in, the fit is going to become much better,
The imprint on the inside is going to become much deeper, this is great quality hide,
Also try forming the opening a little more "neat" there is a wire inside the folded edge and you can form it closer and neater than you have it,
Thanks for posting the video, I liked it because this is a great holster,
I also own the galco pocket holster for the lcp w/laser in this same hide leather and it too was better than I hoped for.

I use leather holsters. Comfort and quietness. The excuse of leather holsters not retaining is on the user. Get the right holster for your needs. Most leather holsters are friction holsters that require a tight waistband or belt, some have a thumb break snap, still others are shape and form fitted to the specific pistol with a tight fit and are stand alone retention. I use a Galco Stow N Go STO286 for a Taurus G2c and a Bersa TPR9C. The collar works fine for reholstering and is not too flexible. This holster is a friction holster so wear it with a tight waistband or belt to retain the gun.

I need a clip optional holster to use. Seems to be a good style of holster
Reminds me of a European style holster
