I ordered yarn from Red Heart----but I could not wait to start. So, I am working the central mandala in left overs till my yarn arrives. I will post pic on facebook when I get far enough----then I will use as much of the mandala center as I make as a wall hanging in my kitchen. I need cheering up when I wash dishes.

Mine are/is a🔥 pit flame.
I have added metal - plastic colored filiment for little embellishment.
Sparkley for winter glow.
No filiment in rest of pattern.
Only the center flame.
colors:
center - sparkly midnight blue
flame. - 🍷, 🍅, 🍷
Wine tomatoe wine
backing - dark dusty purple - violet
Corresponding color filiment.

At around 3:30... isn't that a half double crochet, when you pull through three loops on your hook?

Very nice, actually beautiful work. I am a beginner and I know I can make this......I just wish you would go a little bit slower and show slowly the first stitches when you start a new round, you show the first set then you say repeat and meet you at the end, but it is enough hard to get most of the first piece you crochet, so it's so hard to follow the repeats.

Beautiful work ... but in the 7th round u choosed dark color in the middle which was very hard for me to see where you put the hook so i didnt understand how to do it :(

On my original crochet along post and ravelry listing it is listed as a 60 inch afghan if you match my gauge of 3 sc x 3 row = 1 inch I believe it is.

It's a square, it fits on a queen but personally I'd like it bigger for a queen so it hangs off the edges. It will fit a twin fine. My kids love theirs and are on twins ^_^

Well I could not find the pattern on your blog at all. It is extremely confusing there is just to much stuff on your pages.
My blog is set up like a newspaper. There's the top banner and 3 columns, the middle one has all my content. The 2 outside are for advertising.

I absolutely love The Garden Romp... but I have had so many problems just getting thru this first video! It's very frustrating to follow.. and somehow I must have messed up bad because on the very last round.. I did not have 52 stitches{ to put 6 stitches between the single crochet stitch in the previous round}.... but ONLY 34! I don't even know where to frog even if I wanted to! I spent all morning on this.. but I have to give up.. I'm not a novice by any means.. but I couldn't follow. Very sad :(

Joyce de Souza you can use any weight yarn, use the hook size recommended with the yarn.
I used Aran yarn which is thick with a 5.5mm hook. A double knit (dk) yarn I would recommend a 4.0mm hook
