In a Seinfeld episode George Costanza thinks it would be cool to chomp on an apple while talks on the phone. Fruit figures in episodes of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Joe's Fruit. George thinks the mango has vitamin B12. (It doesn't) Or was it papaya? Doesn't matter, no B12 either way. Kramer eating a banana. "Jerry, did you wash this pear?" Kramer eats the whole apple, core and everything. @@justme-hh4vp
"Rachel and the Rug Merchants: A Jewish Parable" Once upon a time, in a small village nestled among the hills of ancient Judea, lived a young woman named Rachel. Rachel was known throughout the village for her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering faith. One day, Rachel's family fell on hard times, and they struggled to make ends meet. Determined to help her family, Rachel decided to take her most precious possession, a family heirloom-a beautifully woven rug-to the market to sell. As Rachel made her way to the market, she encountered a group of rug merchants who had traveled from distant lands. They were renowned for their skill in trading and were known to offer fair prices for fine rugs. Approaching the merchants, Rachel presented her rug. The lead merchant, a shrewd man with piercing eyes, examined the rug closely. He praised its craftsmanship but offered Rachel a price far below its true worth. Rachel hesitated. Though her family needed the money, she could not bear to part with the rug for so little. With a heavy heart, she politely declined the offer and began to walk away. But as she turned to leave, the lead merchant called out to her. "Wait, young woman," he said, his tone softened. "You possess a rare quality-integrity. Your rug is indeed valuable, and I see that you understand its worth. I offer you a fair price." Rachel was taken aback by the merchant's change of heart. She accepted his offer gratefully and returned home, her heart lightened by the unexpected kindness she had encountered. In the days that followed, Rachel's family flourished. With the money from the sale of the rug, they were able to rebuild their livelihood and help others in need. Years passed, and Rachel's encounter with the rug merchants became a cherished story in the village-a parable of integrity, perseverance, and the rewards of faith.
It’s funny. Not as funny as the original 8 seasons and things are way more outrageous and not based on normal interactions but still funny. Pretty much with every show, the longer it goes on, it’s never as good as it once was.
Yes but for some weird reason - I think the randomness of it all- I find it hilarious that Sienna Miller is in the midst of very dramatic scenes like finding that her child has disappeared and yet she is chomping away at an apple or some fruit (an an earlier scene of this episode not shown here)! Then this final bit where her fruit-chomping somehow is the forgotten essential part of her being able to act convincingly and well is just awesomely absurd. Seeing her pelt her seated co-actress from above with bits of a pear that she is chomping on as she spits them out with the lines is freakin' hilarious to me, for no good reason other than silliness. @@watchreport
@@watchreport It's slightly different and more glossy, but it's still very funny. Some of the season 1-2 episodes drag a bit if you haven't watched in 10+ years. There's a lot of Cheryl...
For some obscure reason this particular gag - no pun intended- breaks me up every time as one of the funniest bits on this very hilarious series. The fact someone - Larry I presume- got this idea and the team went for it!
Why’d that lady get so angry at Larry? It’s not like he knew that she had alopecia. He wasn’t making a personal attack. He was asking an honest, innocuous question about her hair
I think Larry is going legacy with this season ! No filters to the creative genius ! Very impressed ! Not for everyone tho ! But that is precisely the point excellent work by every cast inc of course Sienna Miller what a genius
You have to be a certain kind of person to appreciate Larry's comedy...I am that person..That's why I have watched every episode of Seinfeld no less than 5 times in my 48 years of living...and STILL laugh like it's my first time seeing the episodes...#Genius🥰
He noticed in all her movies she’s always eating fruit (previously ). It’s on UA-cam somewhere. Pretty silly. Anyways apparently she can’t do a scene without eating fruit.
It's not supposed to be making sense,no one becomes a better actor when they're eating fruit,in fact seeing the same actor eat fruit in all their movies kills the illusion. But it was fun, especially in the movie where she's looking for her kid.
Him befriending a Klansman and sleeping with a woman he's disgusted by just so he doesn't go to jail for the death of a man is politically correct? Ok.
I doubt Larry's writers intended to send this thematic message, but actors typically aren't that well educated. So it's unsurprising that many of them think they know stuff that just isn't true. Why people value their "insights" on politics, philosophy, spirituality is beyond my understanding.
Larry is just too old and his brain isnt what it was once. You look at Leon, he has lost it. Every joke out of him is about his penis. Just not funny anymore.
😂ok So it’s a shame your opinion counts for zero .I mean if you had an iota of influence you could have saved the whole cast embarrassment and the public the torture of having to enduring the shitty last three series ………ha ha you doyle
He just has to ruin it, hahaha...
He Larry being Larry.
smelled the BS!
He reverses everything 0 to 100 really quick 😂🤣
Yooo the eating and spitting the pear is hilarious. Thought the apple couldn’t be topped.
That trailer is nicer than my house
She's such a good sport for doing this! Big respect to Sienna Miller.
💯
🤣😂🤣😂 Larry is so awkward and ignorant to others feelings...That's what I LOVE about him!!!😂🤣 HILARIOUS

Still looking for Rachel & The Rug merchants.😄😄
Maybe it's in the OLD old testament!

Rachel schmeitzed right out of the Old Testament!
Crying while eating! My favorite trope 😂
The way the lady in the chair screams when the apple hits her 😂😂😂
Bro it's a pear.
and then the look when she threw the orange at her.
Not apple, she said ALEPECIA.
She went bananas
Brad Pitt school of acting
Haha yes and he frequently chews gum in scenes

The constant repeated fruit scenes are one of the most absurdly hilarious things ever on Curb.
Larry eats a lot of fruit.

0:01 I'm already laughing at the two blonde ladies, with their starring "walking in front of Larry in a scene" leading extras roles...😆
They are Cheryl stand ins 😌✨️
What?
Larry is the absolute best
at least she didn't call him a bald asshole, just an asshole! 😂
It would be weird to call him bald right after she cussed him out for mentioning her baldness
Yeah, that would be insensitive!
You see a woman in public yell at some hapless guy, and calls him, "ASSHOLE!" Most people immediately think she's in the right.
Fruit is low calorie and nutrient dense. Sweet too. Fruit gang.
Jumped the shark.
Very Christopher Guest and very funny.
The spitting of the fruit 😂 🍐💦

OMG this scene! LMAO!!!
The wig looks like night vision goggles

Bravo 👏 👏 👏
That hemline is waaaay too long for ww2

Does anyone else think this season ends with Larry in prison in GA?
that fruit thing has to be an inside joke

who is the actress ,sorry actor ,the English lady . certainly comes from my "here parts" ,the south east ,most probably the 'Smoke'

I think it's weaker now because he can't be so politically incorrect - it's just turned into a regular comedy show
