Michael is a true son of Wales. As well as being an incredibly gifted actor, he is well known as an ambassador and tremendous supporter of numerous charities, many of them in Wales. Port Talbot, where he resides, is close to where I live, in the South Wales valleys and he is definitely a favourite amongst the people here. A humble soul with a heart of gold and the smallest ego. If one day I should pass him in the street, I would simply say, well done, Michael for everything you've done for the Welsh community (oh, and I think you're a brilliant actor! 😊). ❤Great man!
Fantastic interview! It's so great when interviewers fo their research, and this one's enthusiasm and excitement about Sheens work is a joy to watch 👏🏻
I dont know how i did not realize this man on Good Omens was one of my favorites from Underworld!! I loved him as Lucian. Gorgeous man! Mad love @ you Mr.Sheen
I love Michael Sheen. He's such a gifted actor, so pleasant to watch! And he seems a genuine person, down to earth. Now I'm watching all I can find of his!
Brilliant interview but you can just tell how exhausted Michael is at this point in the day. But it's so truthful what he said about there being no difference to him between this role or that. Anyone who saw his "Mrs. Robinson" in that 2-minute sketch on what was supposed to be a fun and games show can see that he completely OWNS every part he plays. This is one phenomenal actor and a man who has total mastery of his craft with no ego about it. It's incredible to witness.
Funny that as an American, I barely notice Michael's Welsh accent while David's serms so pronounced. Of course David articulates very clearly so he is usually ptretty easy to understand. I woujd enjoy hearing Michael letting the Welsh accent emerge more.
_"It's insane that the actor Wesley Snipes has that name. If you saw a picture of him and a picture of me and you were asked who should be named Wesley Snipes, you'd pick the pale Englishman every time. Every time, Liz! Frankly, you should be having this conversation with him!"_ Lol! Her "settling soulmate" and his velocipede. He was very good at playing annoying, uptight and snarky. I didn't recognize him from the only other role I'd seen him play at the time: the arrogant, philandering professor in "Midnight in Paris." He's a brilliant chameleon!
Very probably it will be Aneurin (Nye) Bevan, a Welsh Labour politician who, as Secretary of State for Health and Social Care was responsible for introducing the National Health Service in 1948. A Welsh hero, his death in 1960, aged just 62, produced an outpouring of grief in the country. I just about remember that, though I was very young at the time. Everyone spoke of "Nye" Bevan in gratefulness for what he achieved for the welfare state. Hope this answers your question!
@@TenCapQuesada Thanks very much! I actually eventually found out myself, and listened to his Aneurin Bevan lecture as well, very enlightening! Apparently the production will be in February next year at the National Theatre, can’t wait to get tickets for it!
Absolutely lovely interview! I enjoy it when the interviewer actually seems to know the actors work and career.
No better interviewer than a fan
Instant chemistry between David and Michael. Clearly their real life relationship lends to their character’s on screen. Love them both

Where he lives/the location is only is about an 1 hour and half away from me 😊 in the South West of England
Michael looks like an absolutely great person to have around, he sounds so lovely 🥰
He is. I’ve met him at a convention and his hugs are awesome. He is lovely in person.❤
Very good interview! Good and interesting questions, an interviewer who is really well prepared… Thoroughly enjoyable.
I agree! I'm really hoping the same interviewer has talked to David too!

Great Interview, very interesting!!
They are going to look for more stuff to work together? Sherlock and Watson, maybe?
Ohhhhh, THAT would be good!!
They'd have to give Michael the Watson part and make him a bigger part of the story!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Good

First knew of MS in a comedic role….Wesley Snipe….the British quasi boyfriend of Liz Lemon. Charming and snarky….Liz Lemon had met her match.

♥️♥️♥️
What did Michael Sheen direct where Georgia Tennant is involved?
Nothing, but Michael is in Staged, which Georgia produced.
The Way. It hasn't been released yet, I think it's in post-production 👍
@@lyricachansoundbite thank you!
@@lyricachansoundbite Cool I hadn't heard of that!
Will it be season 3??? They had to be together!!!
Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
Michael said that he’s playing “someone Bevan” on stage next year, anyone has any idea who he’s talking about?

@@kpopcrab5733 Wow, hope you get those tickets! I live in Spain, so I'll just sit here and think of you enjoying yourself with Michael!😂
@@TenCapQuesada Ah hopefully there will be online versions available like Under Milk Wood. Then you’ll be able to watch it! Fingers crossed!
@@TenCapQuesadaHow do you pronounce ‘Nye’? (Sorry if it’s a stupid question, but I’m Italian. 😅)
Tennant and Sheen are always wearing the same shirts in every interview.
