- In 2019, Bill Kahan Kapri, better known as the rapper Kodak Black, was sentenced to 46 months in prison for knowingly making false statements on federal forms to acquire a firearm from a federal firearms dealer. In January 2021, on his last day in office, former President Donald Trump granted Kodak Black clemency, releasing him from prison and praising his charitable giving.
On July 15, 2022, the rapper, driving a purple Dodge Durango, was stopped by the Florida Highway Patrol for having an expired registration tag and windows that "appeared darker than the legal limit." According to Kapri's arrest report, police found a small clear bag that contained 31 tablets of oxycodone, and $74,960 in cash. The rapper was arrested on suspicion of drug possession and trafficking, however on July 16, 2022, the rapper posted a $75,000 bond and was released.
On November 16, 2022, the State Attorney for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit of Florida filed a motion to revoke Kapri's bond, on the basis that the rapper had violated his conditions of release by driving with a revoked license.
Six days ago, Real World Police published footage from the Florida Highway Patrol's July 15, 2022, traffic stop of Kodak Black. Today, we are following up with exclusive footage of the rapper's November 5, 2022, traffic stop by the Broward County Sheriff's Office.

This is not uncommon if you’re pulled over while driving without a license. You get a ticket and need to find a ride home. If you’re parked in a parking spot, 50/50 they’ll let you leave it there if someone can come and pick it up. If not, beg them to let you call your own tow truck. If you let them tow it it’s an automatic $700 plus..unfortunately I did this 1 too many times before I got my shit together. Once you get your license, don’t ever take it for granted!!

@@gtakeifer Doesn’t get treated differently when you’re pulled over. If you’re polite with the cops, you won’t go to jail in a situation like this. In PA it’s a court date, plea and 1 year suspension. Probably my 5th time getting caught driving without a license. The cop mentioned if you keep getting caught, eventually they’ll take you in. I’ve even been stopped with bad plates, no registration, no insurance, no license..was able to tow my car independently to a shop of my choice, same as these cops they said I’m gonna trust you not to drive it..I had it towed, and drove it home.. i only know this from being stupid myself and going years without taking care of my license. I bought and sold cars so inevitably, I drove to make a living, from shop to shop, meeting buyers, etc. I by no means promote or even suggest anyone drive with your license in anything but perfect standing!! My biggest lesson was getting into an accident, and someone got hurt (almost died). That turned into a felony case, 5 years probation, $110k in restitution to pay medical bills, and $350k lawsuit paid out by my insurance. So by NO MEANS is driving suspended or revoked an option, it will and does catch up to you..but in terms of going to jail, no it’s not a jailable offense.
I don't know where you live, but my car was towed by the police and it wasn't anywhere near $700.
