I love your videos! They are so easy to follow. I built 4 turners and wired them per your videos. Is there a chance you can do a video on wiring up a toggle switch?
Thank you...I purchased a cup turner for $70, and was about to purchase a multi cup turner for $200. Now I can make my own!!!
Your videos have been so helpful! It's really satisfying to watch your explanation, understand what I'm doing, and do it myself!!!
Mr Coop, thank you so much for what you do!, I am making a multiple turner with 3 or 4 motors, toggle on/off switches and one outlet . Is there a chance you could do a wiring video on this type of setup? Really appreciate you!
Wow love your video, easy explanation. awesome. thank you
Any chance you'll show how to wire it to an on/off rocker/toggle switch on the box instead of on the cord?
Mr coop, thanks for this video... can you explain how to wire3or four motors with toggle switches to one outlet for a multiple turner?
Thanks Mr. Coop! Save me a ton of money! !
Thanks you made that super simple.
I really appreciate this Coop!
Thanks so much for the video. Helped us a lot
How about a light and motor. Wire hook up?
Great video i'm build a 4 tumbler turner per your video, can you do a video wiring all 4 motors working on one switch?
Hello, great, to the point video. Can I get a lamp switch that has the wheel switch on it, instead of the two, separately? The one I'm looking at has a blue and red wire on the lamp switch.
Hi. I was wondering these motors can be used for a multi turner?
Good morning Mr. Coop.. how long of a piece do I cut the dow stick and what type of glue for I use for that ..thank you 🙏
How do You hook that motor part up n make it stay not the switch n wiring I have that part lol js
Hi my name is Samuel I'm interested in your product and I was wondering how much are you charging to make one of these for myself I'm not too handy with making stuff as far as wood and construction is concern if you are able to give me a reasonable price I'm willing to pay for one of those cup Turner's please get back to me as soon as you can thank you very much
mr coop would it be the same if we got the cord that already had the rotary switch?
I'm having a hard time getting a straight hole in the dowel and I don't have a drill press, any tips or alternatives?
Is there anyway to connect 5 of those motors together to a single switch?
Can you use extension cord instead of s lamp cord
I tried doing this with a scrap microwave motor like yours.. I did just like you did and plug in it was fine then after about 1 min it sparked at the motor where the plug goes in to the motor and fried the motor.... I'm buying more motors from the link you provided but I'm scared I frie those motors too!! Any help why this happen
Caitlyn Pardo does MrCoop answer your questions because it doesn’t look like it I have questions but don’t want to waste time if he isn’t responding
@@nevbug You will never know if it is a waist of time unless you ask..
If you fried the the motors it could either be a direct short within the switch, or the power source you are using exceeds 120VAC. Of course there is the possibility of a defective motor but the chances are there was in error in wiring.
Omg love it
Thank you!!!!!!!!
how do I make the extra interchangeable arms with noodle/balls
What if I wanted to add more than one motor
What happens if my motor turner keeps going back and forth and not completely around in a complete circle?
Either it is out of alignment. Or there is a broken gear inside. Best guess is alignment.
@@MrCoop thanks got it figured out and working right
Thanks for the video. I have 2 questions. I did not install a switch thinking I would just plug and unplug. Is that ok? I use the motor in your link and it keeps changing directions. Is that normal?
Lisa Roberie Yes that is totally normal!
If it changes direction while running you have something out of alignment. The only time it should change direction is when you turn it off and back on..
so if it is level what would be out of alignment.
Your holes are out of alignment
Mr Coop, do you know if the switch can be added to the Blue Motor Wires the same way?
My thought is to have 4 forward facing units and IF possible ONE POWER CORD, but a switch for each.

@@MrCoop the motor that I have is a directional rotation I do not have the switch on it yet but is it possible to go One Direction the whole time?
I can't find a 7 m drill bit what other size can you use
What is it for?
Are there any lamp cord kit and switch you recommend from home depot, lowes or ace hardware store?
I bought mine at Walmart.
Does it have to be a lamp cord or can I use a cheap extension cord?
I got these www.amazon.com/dp/B07GW9B1G7/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B07GW9B1G7&pd_rd_w=EjWWb&pf_rd_p=21517efd-b385-405b-a405-9a37af61b5b4&pd_rd_wg=vPhI2&pf_rd_r=TPC6SCN87EMTFNVN7T4M&pd_rd_r=b06a5334-fbe9-11e8-bdbb-a1d7abf94cea
I’d like to know also.
If I get a cord that already has the switch on it will it still turn both ways
Yes, each time you turn it off and back on it should go the opposite way
I still struggle to understand what this is used for, I mean is it painting? Powder coating? Wrapping in cord?
thomas cope it's for those of us who design cups and use epoxy resin. It spins the cup so that the resin will hopefully dry evenly around the cup.
MrRealGoodMan ah got it,thank you!
thomas cope you're welcome. :-)
thomas cope use this link it will show you a small part of what the custom tumblers are..

I used a lamp cord from Amazon and the turner went one direction than changed direction before it went all the way around. What is the problem.
Your PVC piece is out of alignment. Same thing happened to me. Try loosening one of the motor screws to off set the misaligment. I backed by screw off by a half turn and it works perfect!
@@Alanadamsjr2 Thank you so much!! This is the answer to my problem and I couldn't find it anywhere!
The little stint on top doesn't go all the way through my 1x4. I can't put the adapter on. Any advice?
I do not understand what you are referring to.
MrCoop I'm trying to attach the motor to the back panel. It's flush up against the panel but that little rod on top of the motor doesn't go all the way through the board.
My motor keeps getting hot, any suggestions as to why? Or what I can do to fix it?
Heather Brewster I know this was posted awhile ago but mine are getting hot too? Did you ever figure out why??
Just wired one up tonight and it’s almost too hot to touch after 10 minutes. I think it’s just the cheap motors. They won’t last long getting this hot but shouldn’t be dangerous. Just keep an eye on it. And a fire extinguisher close by. :)
It is totally normal for these to get hot. Rotisserie motors get just as hot, but you don't really notice it because the motor is in a casing.
Guaranteed the motor is not sufficient to turn the weight, or the motor is just junk. Make sure everything is turning true, and if it runs too hot to touch, upgrade to a better motor.
The switch is out of stock
What kind of electric motor did you use? I dont do the cup how fast do they need to turn?
The name of the motor is in the description box under the video
My motors turn one way about a half a turn then stop and go back the other way and keep going back and forth. How do I stop this?
I'm having the same issue. Have you found a solution?
@@donnacloinger4822 actually yes, believe it or not the 2 screws holding the motors to the wood were to tight. I loosened them a little and they started spinning in just one direction.
Thank you. Its working now
Why is my motor getting hot-
Just the way they are made.
MrCoop thank you for your reply!!!
