I agree with Deepa that women can live independently without a husband, but that doesn't mean that they have to leave their husbands permanently just because they have problems. I'm not saying they should adjust with a bad husband, but they should at least try their level best to work things out and maybe even go to marriage counseling first, before deciding to give up on their marriage. They have a responsibility to their respective marriages too. But one thing that she said is completely true. If a husband is more successful than his wife, she wouldn't be jealous of him. She'd be happy for him. But in most cases, when a wife is more successful than her husband, his male ego makes him feel inferior to her and jealous. I hope that Tamil is one of those few husbands whom support the successes of their respective wives (rather than feel intimidated by it) and is a support to Thulasi's success, instead of her having to stand alone.

Deepa is right .She and her father and mother did take all effort first with Sushi and then Looked after Prabha when his Father died.Deepa 's father death was indirectly due to Prabha.There family anger is justified.Further Deepa and Prabha may rejoin .But here the entire mistake is with Prabha.
