Went back and played sc1. Literally smiled the whole time I was playing. Love that game.

One of the best matches I've ever seen
Diagonal scout first on a four-spawn map is just the safest option. If you find your opponent, congrats, you have the info. If you don't find them, you know they're close spawn and have a moment to prepare for fast action. From then forward, you send the scout to one of the two remaining positions, and you will always determine where your enemy is from that.

Also - personally I say that Tasteless and Artosis together are the Mick Jagger and Keith Richards of eSports Rolling Stones, i.e. the very best commentator duo in this game. Their chemistry and collective knowledge of Starcraft, I find, make for very interesting and enjoyable content - no sign of hate whatsoever anywhere that I can see.

Taktisches Movement in absoluter perfektion. Wer SC gezoggt hat weiss wovon ich rede.Das is einfach unnormal was die da machen. Starcraft Broodwar in perfektion. Selbst die Regie kommt ja nich ma hinterher wo was auf der Map ab geht. :D

its designed to allow zerg to sunken/block the choke w/out building a hatchery. Also, it prevents T/P players from building a early forward wall-in which could protect the large ramp of the 2nd Natural Expo. Instead they must build there wall-ins back, which protects main and 1st expo, but not the large ramp of the 2nd Expo, which is the main attack point for zerg to P/T's third base.
@Bobblefighter the Sunken Colony is there for the Zerg. The Zerg don't have to make any of their own creep: they could just use the Creep from the Colony.

@totallyrandom02 It's all done by the zerg unit the defiler. It's called a dark swarm. It protects any units under it from ranged attacks. Only Melee units are effective under this cloud.

I dont get why Jaedong didn't expo faster? I know hes one of the greatest but he needed the 4th expo way sooner
@bobtin70 Well put! I think most of the time Stork is not the underdog though - I'm referring to commentaries other than this one.

@MyMindIsMyWill Dawn of War was there before StarCraft? Dawn of War is a great game but SC was already big when DoW was released :)
I don't know why Jaedong kept throwing down the dark swarm if it was worthless against the mostly melee army I think some plagues would have been a lot better.
@619videomaker the reason why sc2 is not open yet, is cuz sc1 keeps selling, when the sc1 die in the tournies, the sc2 will appear.

teranex: Queston was theres alot of mineral+ gases around the map why dont they use them. Answer: you cannot expand to one of these mineral patches without distracting/attacking your enemy to keeep his forces in front of you, if not you will be attacked from behind with storm drops scarbs etc

SC2 is definately a solid game, and don't forget that when I started playing vanilla starcraft in 97, online gaming meant nothing. I could do a CC slide so terran could mine faster lol. Point is... starcraft didn't start as THE rts powerhouse, it was tweaked slowly and carefully over many many years. I think you will see that SC2 will do the same, at least I hope. Most other RTS games won't be able to do that because of SC. Same as WoW in the MMO world, the market is cornered...

the beta was out in korea way before it came out in america. (it jsut came out)
its interesting how engine mistakes like being able to dodge things make the game more skill determined
