Aún así es imposible determinar si es un Stradivarius auténtico con un video como única herramienta. El año del violín es "1716" sin embargo en las etiquetas de Stradivari del 1700's, tienen impreso únicamebte el "1" en forma de "I" (I latina) y el resto de números era escrito con tinta. En la etiqueta parece que el número impreso es "1 7" así que ahí está el primer signo de que posiblemente no sea auténtico. Los violines del 1700's son conocidos como la época de Oro de Stradivari, Debido a la perfección alcanzada en cuestión sonora, estructural y estética. Con estética nos referimos a que en éstos violines del 1700's, Stradivari fue más meticuloso para elegir la madera perfecta de sus violines. En el video apreciamos que la veta del arce no es muy regular además de que en las costillas de la parte inferior del violín ni siquiera aparecen vetas. Así que hay ciertos detalles que ponen en duda la autenticidad del violín. Sin embargo es mi opinión. Yo sugiero que lleves el violín con un experto. En mi opinión el violín sí es antiguo, en cuanto al origen no estoy seguro; probablemente sea una muy buena copia de los que se crearon en los 1800's. Probablemente francés.
Juan B es una copia de manufactura Checa o Alemana, el color del barniz y el tallado en los bordes lo dice todo, además del espesor de las tapas y el diapasón.
Estoy de acuerdo con lo que dices pero con ver este vídeo los cortes de madera en el mango, y el diapazon o trastiera se aprecia que fijo no es un Stradivarius todas formas se ve que la madera es buena, puede ser de alguna casa de estudiantes de lutheria recomendó que veas con un luthier los espesores, saludos
Cuando la cámara recorría el violin, en ese momento no me pasó por la mente si era falso o no, sólo me di cuenta que suspiré profundo luego de un rato, viendo cada detalle y huellas del tiempo, como las marcas de las cuerdas que sollaron la madera. Aún ahorita cuando escribo, todavía suspiro solo al pensar que puede ser verdadero y que aunque sea lo puedo ver a través de mi celular. There is no splice line between the scroll and the shaft of the neck, which is a modern neck. Therefore, the violin almost certainly dates from after ca. 1820, and probably from the 1900s. As other commenters have written, it is probably a German or Czech copy and not even intended as a forgery.

Eran hechos para venderlos a turistas que creían que habían "descubierto" uno auténtico en alguna feria de pulgas. En esa época todavía no existían linternas, por lo que la etiqueta era visible con dificultad, y el turista que pensaba que gracias a su agudo ingenio había descubierto uno, estaba dispuesto a llevárselo, aunque no anduviera buscando un violín. El vendedor solo le decía "es un viejo violín" y si era buen vendedor tampoco le mencionaba lo de "Stradivarius", así el comprador caía en su propia trampa. En mi familia hay uno de esos, y todos juran que es uno real, pero no pasa de ser una de las miles y miles de copias repartidas por el mundo. Antonius Stradivari built about 1000 Instruments. Nearly 8000 of them are in spain, germany, USA (20000, including all the attic findings) or anywhere in the world.
Now, a lot of them are copies. I found one in my attic, and at first I thought it was a replica (real), but it was a copy from about 1900. They still make copies, but never sound as good as real ones. For example, a school in my city bought hundreds of copies of them, new. The copies are different from replicas because we don’t exactly know what Antonio Stradivari did to make them sound so good, but some theories are that he used a fungus-eating bug to, well, get rid of the fungus. Whenever you find one, look at the top of the back of the body of the violin. It is a replica if it says Stradivari. Also, in the f-hole it will say Made In Italy. Mine said it was made in Germany, and that was how I knew it was just a copy.

The fingerboard and nut, worn though they are, are not ebony. Even German copies (I have two really good ones) have real ebony fittings. There is no doubt its old just from the wear and tear on it. But it looks like it was used as a fiddle from the wear on the G side of the finger board showing that it was played (a lot) in the first position over many years. It looks in good enough shape to do a new fingerboard, nut and cleaning. With a decent set up it probably would sound pretty good. Well played fiddles are usually sweet sounding.
The violin is what one might describe hand finished. These instruments were churned out by the thousand by "factories" in the 19th century. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it is important to make sure such instruments are correctly represented. Many people have parted with fortunes believing they are buying the "real thing." Every single surviving Strad is known and documented. It would be a fluke if any others ever show up, and certainly one would not expect to find any anonymous examples, such as this one purporting to be such an instrument. Strads were famous in their time, and therefore almost all of them have known histories.

You can only take a label at face value. They were easily copied and applied to almost any cheap violin. The violin needs to speak for itself, as if no label is present at all.

tengo el mismo violin, con los dos ultimos digitos escritos en pluma, es de 1723 Reza la etiqueta. vivo en colombia, por lo que si tu vives en otro pais, es probable que el fabricante fuera de muy buena reputacion. aunque no es probable que sea un autentico Stradivarius,, no quiere decir que sea de mala calidad. He tocado mi violin por 12 años y el sonido de estas replicas es increiblemente potente y brillante,, los bajos son penetrantes y profuntos, con un brillo que es dificil de producir en un violin moderno. asi que Felicidades eres afortunado. estas replicas pueden tener un valor entre los 1500 y 12000 dolares. y aunque no sea autentico algo si que lo es,, su año de fabricacion.. ningun buen fabricante o lutier, falsificaria la fecha, simplemente no tiene sentido hacerlo.

The wood and craft... doesn't even close. I restored a couple of student 100 years old instruments made in Europe... probably german. They are not so bad, sound good. But real strads are different universe.

I laughed when I told people my Strad is real and I only paid about $85k US for it. Looks like this one...long lost Strad babies. I don’t know what makes them so rare. I plan to offer mine to Hillary Han some day. She just has a Vuillaume or something, the “French Strad”
All old violins are fakes. The only original part is the box, which has been molested to withstand the pressure of steel strings. The necks were ripped out by the roots years ago and replaced with modern, longer necks. I've yet to hear an original in original condition.
There is a possibility that the Shellac contains fine Jem stone crushed like powder . The wood may have been seasoned in Volcanic ash . This i was told many years ago to improve the sound of the wood.
You can also see on that the scrool and the neck are one single piece, on old violin, the neck and the scroll are in two piece, because when they modernized the violin they had to rework the neck too much, so they cut the original scroll off the old neck then , past it on a new neck. And there's many more evendence that this is a copy. ^^ but this one can't lie ^^ if someone tells you that they have a violin build before ~1850 look for a join between the neck and the scroll.
I've been a luthier for 60 years now, and that is not a genuine Stradivari. The scroll, varnish, and purfling (at the corners) are wrong. I'm afraid that this is one of those attic finds with a Stradivari label denoting the model and the model year that was used as a guide in its construction that makes the yard-sale shopper's heart leap with greed, and the same is true for the inheritor of "Grandma's violin". There is NO owner of ANY Stradivari that would ever let the instrument be viewed carelessly in a shop with no safety precautions on a bench that was earlier used to fix the hedge trimmer. Any known Strad would also be strung and playable.
Es un violín 3/4, copia alemana de los años 30's , para nada Stradivarius, yo tuve el mismo con estuche original de madera y lo cambié por una guitarra eléctrica. No tiene mal sonido, escuché a un mariachi que tenía el mismo y era un sonido añejo y dulce. NO ES STRADIVARIUS, no se desgasten en eso, cuando tuve el mío estudié el tema como seis meses. Saludos.
I'm going to give the world some clues about "Stradivari Violins" and 700 hundred "Chelo's". All of the world's experts museums and documentation on the Antonio Stratovari. Don't no this! All off the originals 🎻 violins have wood tags inside them. The tags have the symbol of a long cross with a have moon shape above them stamped into the wood. Diamond shaped pieces of wood through out the inner body of the violins for added magnificent sound effects. This was Antonio Stradivari Secret about his 🎻 violins. Another wood tag inside the violin that can only be seen if you open the violin up. Antonius Stradivari gave each of his instruments a personal name. My Stratovari is named "Dolphin". Not named for an animal but named after a territory.

The wood (clearly a nondescript Bavarian stock); the varnish (clearly a spirit varnish) is one-dimensional; the modeling features on the belly and back; the ribs are undistinguished; the purfling is terrible and crude with incorrect "bee-stings"; the scroll is cheap and mass produced; the soundholes are crude and entirely wrong for Stradivari.
Even through the background music all I heard was the clunk, clunk, clunk of this beautiful survivor being hit continuesly against the wood top table. How about putting some type of fabric for the violin to rest upon....just a thought...🙄!

You can only take a label at face value. They were easily copied and applied to almost any cheap violin. The violin needs to speak for itself, as if no label is present at all.

tengo el mismo violin, con los dos ultimos digitos escritos en pluma, es de 1723 Reza la etiqueta. vivo en colombia, por lo que si tu vives en otro pais, es probable que el fabricante fuera de muy buena reputacion. aunque no es probable que sea un autentico Stradivarius,, no quiere decir que sea de mala calidad. He tocado mi violin por 12 años y el sonido de estas replicas es increiblemente potente y brillante,, los bajos son penetrantes y profuntos, con un brillo que es dificil de producir en un violin moderno. asi que Felicidades eres afortunado. estas replicas pueden tener un valor entre los 1500 y 12000 dolares. y aunque no sea autentico algo si que lo es,, su año de fabricacion.. ningun buen fabricante o lutier, falsificaria la fecha, simplemente no tiene sentido hacerlo.

Yes, it can be an original Czech made instrument, a handcrafted product of a Northern Bohemian violin-maker workshop. And it may not be from the Czechoslovak era, but earlier, from the time of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy (since 1867), or from an even older period.

They do have good wood around those parts.
Most or maybe all the violins from 1700's were made for cat gut strings. So they had to be modified to play on today's strings. The Strad suffered the most because they weren't build that strong. Warping cracking of the plates top and back
Was a common problem plus the neck angle so no Strat that is playing now is original.
Of course this is not a genuine Stradivari violin. That's a preposterous claim.

The wood and craft... doesn't even close. I restored a couple of student 100 years old instruments made in Europe... probably german. They are not so bad, sound good. But real strads are different universe.

Please make more of an effort to research and announce the origins of instruments, that is, from the Montgomery Ward collection, circa 1920 this GERMAN STRAD COPY.
If you only showed a close up of the F holes I would say I doubt that it is a Strad. It is a handsome violin anyway.

A violin that looks like it is pregnant = Amati copy. But dealers would buy violins from like Schonbach, and stick their own labels in it. So we have an Amati copy that claims to be a Strad copy

All old violins are fakes. The only original part is the box, which has been molested to withstand the pressure of steel strings. The necks were ripped out by the roots years ago and replaced with modern, longer necks. I've yet to hear an original in original condition.

There is a possibility that the Shellac contains fine Jem stone crushed like powder . The wood may have been seasoned in Volcanic ash . This i was told many years ago to improve the sound of the wood.
If that's a strad, Antonio should be shot if that's the original nut.
If it's not his nut then somebody took it to guitar center for a replacement.

You can also see on that the scrool and the neck are one single piece, on old violin, the neck and the scroll are in two piece, because when they modernized the violin they had to rework the neck too much, so they cut the original scroll off the old neck then , past it on a new neck. And there's many more evendence that this is a copy. ^^ but this one can't lie ^^ if someone tells you that they have a violin build before ~1850 look for a join between the neck and the scroll.

Just a cheap copy ,not a strad
I've been a luthier for 60 years now, and that is not a genuine Stradivari. The scroll, varnish, and purfling (at the corners) are wrong. I'm afraid that this is one of those attic finds with a Stradivari label denoting the model and the model year that was used as a guide in its construction that makes the yard-sale shopper's heart leap with greed, and the same is true for the inheritor of "Grandma's violin". There is NO owner of ANY Stradivari that would ever let the instrument be viewed carelessly in a shop with no safety precautions on a bench that was earlier used to fix the hedge trimmer. Any known Strad would also be strung and playable.

Es un violín 3/4, copia alemana de los años 30's , para nada Stradivarius, yo tuve el mismo con estuche original de madera y lo cambié por una guitarra eléctrica. No tiene mal sonido, escuché a un mariachi que tenía el mismo y era un sonido añejo y dulce. NO ES STRADIVARIUS, no se desgasten en eso, cuando tuve el mío estudié el tema como seis meses.

I'm going to give the world some clues about "Stradivari Violins" and 700 hundred "Chelo's". All of the world's experts museums and documentation on the Antonio Stratovari. Don't no this! All off the originals 🎻 violins have wood tags inside them. The tags have the symbol of a long cross with a have moon shape above them stamped into the wood. Diamond shaped pieces of wood through out the inner body of the violins for added magnificent sound effects. This was Antonio Stradivari Secret about his 🎻 violins. Another wood tag inside the violin that can only be seen if you open the violin up. Antonius Stradivari gave each of his instruments a personal name. My Stratovari is named "Dolphin". Not named for an animal but named after a territory.

I mean that it is very obviously and clearly a 19th century copy of mediocre quality. And, visually, NONE of the normal identifiers are present. The wood (clearly a nondescript Bavarian stock); the varnish (clearly a spirit varnish) is one-dimensional; the modeling features on the belly and back; the ribs are undistinguished; the purfling is terrible and crude with incorrect "bee-stings"; the scroll is cheap and mass produced; the soundholes are crude and entirely wrong for Stradivari.
