I’m fine with the stroller seats but if the bus is crowded and some woman is taking up 2 seats with her stroller, she BETTER be giving one of those up so I can sit:
I don’t like the idea of seeing backwards on the bus in a wheelchair. Can’t see when it stops coming up because not every bus has a display monitor on top.
On crowded M11s , strollers, chairs, walkers, grocery carts compete for space to the detriment of time and all the riders - better solutions are needed
these new busses look really nice interior and exterior but when I ride with my heavy scooter because I bought a lot of food and cant ride it, the bus drivers refuse to let me use the ramp and resulting me in having to disturb others to ask for help. the scooter is really heavy and its hard for me to lift especially being a teen. mta please have something to fix this (on the b82) and improve the speeds
If you want your buses to be better, you leave the front door closed and add all the doors in the middle of the bus. People already don't pay at all to go on. Whoever is going to swipe and pay is going to swipe and pay. Everything makes more sense in the middle to minimize boarding and exiting.
Now that the new innovations have been installed in the buses, the next thing to do is to combat fare evasion, because it is simply stealing a ride. The fare evaders act like the most selfish people around.
If only New York City Transit and Metropolitan Transportation Authority would call out the shots, then OMNY can begin full throttle. Thank you for tapping or typing to me.@@yolandabalbuena120
When MTA make a reliable system, people starting pay. Nowadays is always delays, stacking in the tunnels, low speed, dirty stations and dirty car cabins.
@stevegn02 People are slow, they don't realize the fair will go up and not pay attention to it, NJ Transit just went up as well, basically their making money off New Yorkers and ya'll moving because things too high
Sir no disrespect, but why would you do that the buses, you still hsve handicaps elderly and ect that gets on the bus, i think they should fold the strollers up and hold their babies. You're technically making the wrong decision here. When kids go back to school do you not understand how these kids not going to move for these people. Thats why no on paying the fair because ya'll don't make right decisions to what ya'll do. However you put all this on these buses your faur will go higher and most of New Yorkers cannot even get where they have to go because the trains are a problem as well. This was stupid about the stroller.
Thank you, MTA, for the chance to be a part of this program. I very much appreciate the work that is being done for accessible independent travel 🙏
With more to follow. I wonder if you have ever been a funeral director. If so, I want you to know that funeral directors are my kind of people.
Cool! Nice accessibility! That looks great for wheelchairs and people who are disabled or can’t walk.
Awesome for everyone (in wheelchairs and strollers) to be entered in buses accessible. : )
My dad works for the bus depot from the first bus shown with the wheelchair. It is called Grand Avenue depot
That is freaking awsome!!! Thank you from an MTA bus operator.😁
as a customer please let people like me use the ramp while carrying e scooters, there heavy and im small. also which route do you work on

Paying 2.90 for a ride doesn't seem pleasant the mta can just say $3 for a ride mta (money taking agency)
