- We got a letter from one of the fans telling us how he got scammed on a big amount of money by someone pretending to be Karolina Protsenko. At first he thought he was talking to the real Karolina Protsenko but later on he figured out that was a scam. This video was shot as a warning for you not to believe the lies and to stay safe. Please be careful. Don't text in private messages with Karolina Protsenko. Because you'll be talking to the scammers and not Karolina.

Many years ago I tried to teach my daughter and later her children to be very careful about trusting people. ... My daughter got scammed twice, even wanted to borrow from me to pay a scammer. I refused and she sent the money anyway while she stayed mad at me for weeks waiting for the results from the scammer. It never came. ...... I appreciate this video very much. Karolina, a few months ago, I almost got taken by a scammer pretending to be you. I almost sent $200 to this person before I figured out what was going on. Thank you for this video so that people don't have to learn the hard way like I did. My trust in people was almost ruined by the experience. Thank God, though, that it wasn't. Again, thanks.
Why do people even try and want to send Karolina money? Famous people never reach out to fans personally and ask for money.

Yes, it’s a beautiful world with good people in it, But then there are jealous greedy people who are always looking for ways to scam others. Congratulations to the Protsenko family for addressing this issue. And warning their fans how easy it is for scammers to pretend to be any member of their family.

That was great and to make clear that you don't communicate with your fans privately, nor should you. This reminds me of the Bible verse: "A light came into the world but the world knew it not." Unfortunately, there is also darkness but stay in the light and also stay safe!

As a photographer, my specialty is working with families with disabilities. I had a scammer steal a photo from one of my pages and use it for a scam go-fund-me claiming that the little girl in the powerchair had been in a horrible accident. Thankfully, It came to my attention very quickly before the scammer was able to cash out any money from Go-Fund-Me and it was removed and all the money returned to the people who had donated, which was not much at that point. I've seen many similar stories, too.

That scam that you almost fell for when you arrived to the states is extremelly common and I'm happy to know you didn't fall for it, so many people loose their lifetime savings with these and it just breaks my heart.

Thank you for this informative video. It must be extra difficult being known worldwide. I was scammed once for $10,000. Fortunately it was reported because this happened via security checks on my accounts. The people were arrested out of state. You can never be too careful. I never answer a phone call or text message from someone i don't know. God bless you!

I wish I had seen this a few days ago. I got scammed thinking I was talking to Karolina until they said a couple of comments that I knew Karolina wouldn’t say. But on the other hand when the fan believes there is only one Karolina in this world and has a deep idea of her qualities, it would be very difficult for him/her to recognize anyone else as real Karolina, even though the tricks of the crooks are becoming incredibly difficult to discern. Great video very informative i ran into a scammer on youtube but it wasnt Karolina believe it or mot it was someone pretending to be Billy Graham .Who wanted me to send him money to a private account so I checked his site he had 1 follower so I reported him . when I confronted him and said your not Billy Graham he said no, no I really am so Ive had the experience its good you put this video out.

I have been the target of the scammers that you describe. So far I have been able to spot them by asking certain questions they can't accurately answer. And I never accept or follow a private account. I get lots of requests from these accounts to follow them or they want to private message me. I am in my late 60’s. I have reported many scammers but you are correct that they just make a new account. Always look for a verified account. Lots of accounts are faked by changing one little symbol or number/letter of the account name. Another red flag that it is fake! There are so many scams going on ! Stay safe everyone. 🙏

It is very sad that people will do this, I am a big fan of Karolina, I love her music. One of the easiest ways I can tell it's always a scammer is by the way they always type. I can tell the real Karolina knows her Grammer very well, everyone of her scammers that have messaged me does not have good Grammer skills

Scammers, that I call impersonators are always contacting me saying they are Karolina Protsenko. They start off by thanking you for being a fan. They ask how long you’ve been. Fan, and thank you for loving and supporting them. They ask if you are married or single, do you have any kids, how old you are, where do you live, what do you do for a living, just general questions to try to find out about you. They also ask for a picture. But when YOU ask for a picture, they say that their management requires her to ask for a card, and it ends up being various cards depending on who the imposter is. I’ve never bought a card, so I don’t get a picture. Some say they’ll send you a nude photo if you pay so much for a card. Again, different ones ask for different kinds of cards. Throughout the conversation, they say things that give them away, but of course I’m not going to tell you what they are because I don’t want them to know what the triggers are that tell me they’re imposters. If you talk to a few of them over time, you just learn, if you pay attending. Also, I’ve had a couple of them send me nudes of Karolina, except they are photoshopped photos of her head on a nude body that belongs to someone else. They are so poorly done that it’s easy for me to tell real from photoshopped. Karolina and her mother, Ella, have put out a Facebook message to all, do NOT put out photos of themselves on Facebook or anywhere else. Just UA-cam. So knowing that, you now realize that ALL of the ones that get ahold of you are ALL impostersSome people don’t Ger the word though.
Yes, I have been watching you, Karolina, for over 4 years now. And, about 2 1/2 years ago, I thought I received a response from you through UA-cam. Luckily, I rationalized that you could not possibly have time for the number of followers you had and suspected it was FRAUD. Now, I have seen the same type of letter at least 10-15 times on other channels I have visited; they seem to approach posters that have conveyed decent and caring content. In any event, thanks guys for the confirming 'head up' for your fans; very responsible thing to do!
